Not sure if it is a floating deal (see below), but when you buy a Boots Meal Deal, you get an extra bottle of water free.
Can't come in wrong if the weather is good.

I say floating deal, as when I was in the Silverlink store early last week, they had the offer on then - with advertising literature on the fridges.

When in the Arnison Centre store earlier, there was no promotional material, but when I was given the free bottle at the till - I mentioned how I thought the offer must have ended, with there being nothing about promoting the deal. I went on and explained that I had had a free drink from Silverlink last week.
The sales assistant responded and stated the offer had just started that day and that I must be getting mixed up!

Boots meal deals aren't bad at all actually. It was never somewhere I thought of when grabbing a sandwich, but I end to grab something from there every now and again now... the Chicken Tikka flatbread is always a safe choice! Smile

Especially if you have one of the 30p vouchers that they churn out of the till or which comes with your advantage card.

Haven't had that flatbread - always the Chicken triple selection of sandwiches, the biggest crisps and biggest drink! Tis the same price, as the smallest of everything.

For those that don't have Sky, it may be worth giving this a try:

Yes my flight home from Heathrow the other day was delayed (around an hour) so I went to Boots to grab something, had their lovely Chicken & Chorizo sandwich, crisps and bottle of Fanta for £3.79 which I didn't think was bad for airport prices!

Any idea if they're valid for travel locally? Newcastle - Boro for example?

RE: Good deals, freebies, etc... - Jimmi - 18 Nov 2015

Unfortunately the closest stop to me is Middlesbrough Bus Station and the times don't really work out so in most cases I would either have to stay over or pay a total fortune for taxis to get to/from Middlesbrough because of the lack of bus services to/from Middlesbrough at the arrival/departure times. So once again living where I live has screwed me out of bus trips once again! Sad

Think I either need to learn to drive or move to somewhere in the Sunderland or Newcastle areas.

Oh yes - MIL sent me a link to that one.

Torn. There's 2 newspapers I object to quite strongly and that's one of them.

Edit: just realised that she sent me her code, so all done!

Good offer, but I'd not buy the excuse for a paper.
