One missed piece - the entire allocation of Streetlite Mild-Hybrids at both Stagecoach and First Sheffield, as well as First's batch of Mild-Hybrid Streetdecks, now carry 'Buses of Sheffield' vinyl.

Yet York Pullman have also registered services M6 & M7 for 2019... Just a hunch that one may have the Saturday service and the other has the Sunday service, Pullman registrations are from May 4th so possibly Pullman on Saturdays and First on Sundays?

Exactly that - Pullman is Saturday, First is Sunday.

First require something smaller than a B7RLE, so suggestion is a Streetlite or E200 will transfer to York.

Quite an interesting move from Arriva Yorkshire given they've only recently completed refurbs on the VDL Gemini's for the service 110, what is even more interesting is that they've chosen the Streetdeck over the Enviro 400MMC.

I wonder where the VDL Gemini's will end up then.

Only one VDL Gemini was refurbished to Sapphire for the 110 (1546 / TWY 7) which I think was due to a PVR increase. E400's 1946 & 1947 were repainted into the new Sapphire livery having previously being unbranded Sapphire spares.

StreetDecks all the rage in Leeds! First have quite a substantial number of them now.

I've been down to Leeds today and actually sampled a 2016 StreetDeck on the First X6 service and also a 2017 E400MMC on the Arriva 189 service, and the StreetDeck was far superior from a passenger perspective.

The StreetDeck had no rattles and enough power to arrive to the destination on time, whereas the E400MMC was badly rattling and one of the windows on the nearside upper deck was wobbling and almost felt like it was going to pop out! My experience on the E400MMC was shocking to say the least: not what I'd expect from a relatively new bus.

I know First have quite a lot of them in Leeds, just wasn't expecting Arriva to purchase them as they haven't done so since the bought some in 2016 for their services in Kent & Surrey, since then they've been purchasing ADL Products.

The Streetdecks on the X6 do have some oomph about them as I have also used the service back in August 2017 from Leeds to Bradford and I have to agree from a passenger perspective they were quite nice.

I do however prefer the ADL Products, I have been quite impressed with the demonstrators Go North East have had in the last few months from them compared to those offered by Wrightbus, I would even argue Optare provide a better product than Wrightbus, the Versa XFE was excellent and I quite like the Metrodecker also, but overall I would still say if we talking about single deck vehicles that Mercedes offer the best product in the form of the Citaro.

So that VDL Gemini will probably go into corporate livery then.

Well if they do they'll be replacing older E400's/VDL Gemini's already on the 268's

One sole StreetDeck was purchased in Arriva specification in Kent and Surrey, with one other in Sapphire specification in the Midlands. Some were also purchased at Arriva London.

The VDL will probably join the other Sapphire spec ones at Selby.

BIB: That is indeed the rumour - new Streetdecks onto the 110 releasing 1931-47 onto the 268 (there's no 268a now - all journeys now run Wakefield to Bradford every 15 minutes so the a was dropped), releasing E400 1900-13 and VDL/Gemini 1519-21. Rumours are that those 14 E400s will be heading north......

Reported on 'Travel South Yorkshire' Forum - Volvo B7TLs 37147-55 (YN06 URA/B/C/D/E/F/G/H/J) and 37172-9 (SF07 FDC/D/E/G/J/K/L/M) are due from First Glasgow (Caledonia depot). This is a return 'home' for 37147-55, which were new to the now-closed Halfway depot for the old service 60 (Fulwood to City Centre - now the south western part of the 120). No details which depot yet.

(04 Nov 2018, 1:08 pm)Kuyoyo wrote Update on this - originally intended to be allocated to Doncaster depot to increase their decker allocation, they are now being allocated to Olive Grove depot. While presently being used due to a shortage of vehicles, they will eventually allow the replacement of the entire allocation of Volvo B7TL/Plaxton Presidents and a small number of B7Ls.

New update on regards to the First South Yorkshire fleet:

37154 has transferred to First Eastern Countries at Great Yarmouth.

Fleet changes this weekend see Volvo B7TLs 37031/151-3/5/72/3 moving from Sheffield to Doncaster in exchange for Volvo B9TLs 37228/31/57/9/61-3/494 (262/3 once repair works have been completed), with Doncaster also gained B7RLE 69222 from Olive Grove.
This move results in Doncaster's B9TL allocation dropping from 15 to just 7 - the 'Doncaster Corporation' livered 37230 plus sisters 37232-7. This also means that, bar 37230, the rest of the 'Heritage' livered fleet are now based at Olive Grove (likely means 37231 will mainly be found on former Rotherham routes).
RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
I’d be willing to bet the 4 Gemini’s off the 268 will go to the 229 replacing the single decks which I’m fairly confident will only have been a short term measure due to a lack of availability of DDs.
The E400s I would think will be likely to replace older Max stock up here, possibly heading to Durham for the X46/48 which would displace the ALX400s to replace older Gemini’s at Blyth. That would only account for 7 or 8 though. I’ve seen mention of some going to Tiger though but that could be rubbish.

It would be easier sending the E400s to Jesmond for the 306...

On loan to Sheffield Ecclesfield as additional resources for Tram Replacement work are:

Enviro400MMC 10465 (SN65 NZY) and 10629 (SN16 OXL) from Stagecoach Manchester
Enviro200 36526/7 (FX12 BZD/E) from Stagecoach East Midlands

First West Yorkshire

A further batch of 59 Streetdecks are due for delivery over the summer. Unlike the previous two batches, these will be new to Bramley - enough to replace all non-Euro4 vehicles at that depot (presently 58 Euro3 or older vehicles). The first two are to be fitted with guidewheels as a trial for use on the 56 (Whinmoor to Moor Grange via City). The remaining 57 will be non-guidewheel fitted for use on non-guided routes.
RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
Stagecoach Yorkshire

The second stage of the tram replacement work began on Monday - this sees the closure of the North Western Branch of the Supertram Network extended from the junction at Hillsborough Corner (just after the Tram Stop, where the Malin Bridge branch splits from the main route to Middlewood) to Shalesmoor. As such, there's two tram replacement services operating:
The BL1, replacing the Blue Route between Malin Bridge and Shalesmoor - extending to the City Centre on a evening.
An extension of the SL1/SL1a (Middlewood Park & Ride to Stocksbridge) to Sheffield City Centre via Hillsborough and Shalesmoor
While the first Phrase of the replacement operation (and the normal operation of the SL1/SL1a) was provided by Ecclesfield depot, Holbrook depot are providing the operation for Phrase 2. This means operation of the SL1/SL1a is temporarily being provided by Holbrook depot, using double deckers - as such, reserve Omnidekkas 15413/6/7 have moved from Ecclesfield to Holbrook, as has the latest loan from Manchester - 'Magic Bus' E400 19178 (MX57 LCC).

RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
South Yorkshire

A post on the 'South Yorkshire Transport Forum' has confirmed the following changes taking place to Tendered services in the Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley area in Septmber, and they are as followed:

Sheffield: Stagecoach have lost the evening/Sunday morning journeys on the 57 (Sheffield to Stocksbridge via Oughtbridge), the late evening journeys on both services 86 (Chapeltown to Lowedges via City Centre) and 25 (Woodhouse to Bradway) to First (First returning to Stocksbridge for the first time since the Sheffield Partnership was first introduced). They have also lost the 35a (Chapeltown to Thorncliffe Business Park) and the 201 (Chapeltown to Stocksbridge) to Powells. However, they have won the M92 (Harley to Fox Hill via Chapeltown) from Sheffield Community Transport, who have lost all their contracted work and will be left with only the Hopsital Shuttle H1 (Northern General Hospital to Royal Hallamshire Hospital). Withdrawn in terms of Stagecoach-operated contracts include the 31/31b (Sheffield to Wisewood via Hillsborough), and the evening journeys on the 71/71a (Sheffield to Killamarsh). TM Travel have also lost a number of long-held contracts - the 6 (Millhouses Tesco to Darnall Littledale Estate via Royal Hallamshire Hospital and City Centre) and the evening 6a (City Centre to Manor Top via Darnall) pass to First (who previously operated the service pre-Partnership) while the 61/62 (Hillsborough to Bradfield circulars) pass to Powells. The 4 (City Centre to Bents Green or Ringinglow) and the evening 4a (City Centre to Millhouses Tesco via Ecclesall) has been cancelled.

Rotherham: Stagecoach have won the evening and Sunday journeys on the 136 (Rotherham to Hoyland via Kimberworth Park and Thorpe Hesley) from First.

[b]Barnsley[/u]: The 92/92a (Barnsley to Cawthorne) will be renumbered 94/94a - the Monday to Saturday daytime journeys will be operated by Globe Coaches on a commercial bases (hence the renumbering) while Stagecoach will continue to operate the evening and Sunday 94a journeys.
