(25 Jun 2014, 9:05 pm)aureolin Hopefully they're more acceptable than the repetitive 'safety' announcements on the Metro platforms and Nexus bus stations.

(25 Jun 2014, 9:13 pm)Tom Oh god they get on my nerves, it usually:
''Metro safety announcemnt, please do not hold train doors open, its dangerous, causes delays and can lead to a fine of £1000'' or ''Please hold the handrail of escalators, if you have a pushchair, luggage or a wheelchair please use lifts''. They normally play about two or three times!

(25 Jun 2014, 9:22 pm)BJ10VUS A year or two ago the announcements on Monument platform 4 were constantly repeating themselves. Not sure how long it went on, but they used to go "The train standing at platform 4 is for St James" about five times while the train was waiting to leave.

Anyone know any good spots to Photograph the Metros, I have already taken photos between Felling and Heworth. Basically what I am attempting to do is get a Photo of the Metro at Every Single Station Possible, Obviously the likes of Haymarket would be out of the Question.

(30 Jun 2014, 5:42 pm)Andreos Constantopolous As has already been pointed out, you may get chucked off the platform if spotted with your camera.
Best bet, is to find bridges or crossings.
In Jesmond and a few other places on North Tyneside, there are a lot of streets with houses which run alongside the tracks.

(30 Jun 2014, 5:42 pm)Dan I've never had an issue with photographing Metros.
I've taken photographs in front of Nexus staff before, and they seemingly haven't cared.
The photo I took at South Gosforth was taken whilst about three Metro staff were standing there next to me. I got on the next Metro and moved on.
