That would be telling and.....

No, none of them have arrived either.

I like the two tone blue, the Red Arrow brand impressed me, despite the advert boards.

This one looks set to do the same...

Looks like a cross between Arrivas Max and Yorkshire Coastliner

It could be, since Dan mentioned another bus has arrived with a different fleet number.... unless hes trolling us.... Wink

Not sure if Brighton has got any new buses so far this year?

The bus in the photo arrived yesterday - hence the "Keep up, folks" remark! Taken 40 hours for it to surface!

It does not carry one of the fleet numbers that Bazza guessed.

Not normally one to bother with praise etc but lately there's been a new (well new to me) Irish fella driving on the 21. He has to be the most friendly chirpy helpful driver I've ever met. He's raised the standards of friendliness on  the 21 by a billion percent compared to the usual angry lot!

I was even going to email in but I'm never convinced the feedback gets through to the drivers.

I agree the blue looks good. Refreshing change from the standard of one block colour with branding applied on top. Looking at Streetdecks already in the UK, the livery seems to 'make or break' them in the style department. The bold angles of the front end need a livery to match

So what's the reason behind the fleet numbers for the DD jumping from 61XX to 63XX?

(10 Feb 2016, 9:36 am)JP6004 wrote So what's the reason behind the fleet numbers for the DD jumping from 61XX to 63XX?

Because its a New Type of Vehicle in the Fleet so strating fresh in a sequence ( 6301 up ) will make it easier to identify Vehicles if further orders of the Streetdeck are ordered.
Saying that above, I wouldn't be surprised if this Streetdeck is numbered 6301?

More Omnideckers for the 61xx series maybe?
Any additional aquired deckers could then continue into the 62xx.

I was wondering if this new batch would start off the 3xxx series again, but I am guessing they're waiting for that to be cleared first.

The eagle-eyed enthusiast will also note the backwards facing seats on the upper saloon in that photograph, where tables are fitted, similar to the ADL Enviro400 MMC which was on loan.

Not to sure on tables like.

Will tables become normal spec for longer routes?, such as the X9/X10?.

I like the idea of additional tables.

If they've got it right then it will be good, like decent amount of plugs, i know some people wouldn't be haply if theirs just wires all over etc and no doubt the tables will be full of peoples shopping.

I'm not against the idea at all, its a good idea, lets hope it works and nore longer distance routes get them.

Assuming so. The GNE rep hadn't seen an X12 in two hours.

I gave up waiting and hopped an X1 to Galleries and currently sitting on a deserted 6005 doing  the 82A back to Birtley

I appreciate that the company can change but they have never done this in the past. Going off this alone, I wouldn't be surprised if what you have said is not the reason (if it ever surfaces).
