(28 Jan 2019, 8:41 pm)S813 FVK With documents regarding planning permission having been submitted, probably safe to say it's no longer a rumour and the expansion is being considered.
Application was validated last August, with an amendment in December. Status still down as 'Awaiting Decision'.

The new timetables are online for revised services in Stanley and Consett from 7th April 2019 on http://jplanner.travelinenortheast.info/planner
My 23.15 Newcastle to Stanley is safe on service 6A.
The 6A service has last departures from Newcastle of 22.00 and 23.00 on a Sunday to Stanley.
The main changes I can see not yet discussed here in previous posts are the last two runs of the M6 from Stanley now continue from Crookgate to the Metrocentre. The M6 as already discussed is now Quaking Houses to Metrocentre.
Last M6 on Sunday from Stanley also seems to contunue to Metrocentre, no longer terminating at Tantobie and starting at 23.15.
There's also an extra M6 from Stanley to the Metrocentre at 19.45 on a Sunday evening.
Also Sunday only, 22.25 16A from Durham to Stanley continues to Consett.
Sunday only also, 22.40 78A from Consett to Stanley runs as 78 and continues to Chester-le-Street.
Minor as already discussed is the 45 last departures from Newcastle to Consett are now 22.25 and 23.25, five minutes earlier with the 45E on Sunday.

One thing I have noticed in the new Cobalt Clipper timetable is that the timing point has changed from New York Post Office to New York Greenlea. Would this be to accommodate the driver changeovers on the 309? Greenlea has a pullover whereas the stop near the Post Office doesn't have one.
When does the GNE contract for operating the Nexus 33A expire? Thanks.

Route: Metrocentre Coach Park to Newcastle City Centre
Service number: X50 ()
Service type: Limited Stop
Effective date: 10 May 2019
Rugby Cup Final Games on 10th & 11th May 2019.
Can see that the 309 is struggling today due to the timing changes and even more so with it running in front of the 308. Would make sense to do the following:
- Sunday 57s curtailed to run between Newcastle and Wardley only (PVR 5x)
- Sunday 309s made standalone (PVR 5x).
- Sunday 310s made standalone and revised to additionally serve Hadrian Park (PVR 4x).
The combined PVR on a Sunday would reduce from 16 vehicles to 14 vehicles
