Early days yet but having 3 extra mins each way and not having those shitty electric buses on them should help.

The timetable looks better but, I think adding the following would bulletproof the reliability (although the 306 PVR would also need an increase too):
- North Tyneside Hospital > Billy Mill towards Newcastle = 1 minute (8 minutes)
- Billy Mill > Willington Square towards Newcastle = 2 minutes (8 minutes)
- Willington Square > Billy Mill towards Blyth = 2 minutes (8 minutes)
- Billy Mill  > North Tyneside Hospital towards Blyth = 1 minute (7 minutes)

Also, would Arriva not consider running a parallel X38 running every 30 mins Mon-Sat and missing all stops between Billy Mill to Newcastle? Have E-mailed them in the past about it and they said it wouldn't save enough time but with the 308 now being run to 'manageable' times, it could provide a significant saving over the 308.

308 from Blyth to Newcastle (with ammendments above): 1hr 9mins
308 from Newcastle to Blyth (with ammendments above): 1hr 6 mins
X38 from Blyth to Newcastle: 57mins (17 minutes between Billy Mill and Newcastle)
X38 from Newcastle to Blyth: 54mins (17 minutes between Newcastle and Billy Mill)
* Layover for X38 would be 5 minutes in Blyth and 7 minutes in Newcastle

The X21 and 21 between Durham and Newcastle work well together with the X21 taking care of the punters who just want a quick journey whilst the 21 takes care of the hop on hop off punters as well as the ever popular CLS to Newcastle corridor. Don't see why an X38 wouldn't work and it wouldn't even need a decent vehicle type as such, maybe starting with a single decker with a few double deckers thrown in the mix later on if the peak time runs prove popular.

1511 was parked in Stockton’s yard last night ready for run out so presumably transferred.
Updated plan for cadets etc is;
Frequenta Service 7 to be worked by pulsars with NSA
17/17A to remain Cadet/Centro.

Any word on the possible destinations of the Solos currently on the 7?  I think I noted in an earlier post the suggestion that a couple were going to, I think, Whitby, but I wasn't sure if that was speculation or an actual plan.

1511  instead of one of 1424-8??

Seems odd the 7s going from minis to Pulsars and the 17s keeping Cadets but at least I will still see/hear them in M'bro! Shame they hadn't dropped the Frequenta brand or they could have done some Pulsars up for the 7.

The last of the new buses has arrived from yorkshire that being 1530 which has a full rear advert but since it is nothing to do with blyth or the north east it will probably be removed and the bus will get a wash to get the massive load of bird muck on the bottom window off as it is gross and will ruin the bus once the full rear advert is removed. Als 7632 another one of the new buses needs a new cab fleet number as it still says 1531. 1534 can hopefully keep the odd seat as it is funny and cozy as all the new buses are. And on the word of the new arrivals If anyone is interested the new buses ysualy pop up on the X7 X8 on Monday usualy the 8:00 X8 to newcastle

I think the 43 rarely ever gets any sapphires it is mostly just a volvo b7tlwright gemini  today i was on the 43 which was 7488 seen 7490 on the 43 & 7493 on the 43 and abit of a rarer appearance with 1575. Arriva probably should have thought before having the e400 sapphires branded for the 43 as well as the 44 & 45. And when the 43 is actually  a sapphire 7522 never shows up on the 43 and is constantly the 44 & 45.

The routes interwork, so 7522 will show up on the 43, if it's on the 44 and 45.

I can't remember if there's a Sapphire spec spare for the route, and if there isn't, one branded vehicle VOR is immediately noticeable.

The full rear advert will likely be removed on repaint.

I imagine, as they should be allocated to the 308, that they'll go under some sort of refurbishment into the new livery and internal specification sometime soon.

There should be an extra Sapphire bus to play with now that the PVR of the 43/44/45 has been reduced. However, allocations can depend on where the vehicle is parked in the depot, and if any delays occur during the day.

The morning 552 is always a Sapphire bus so straight away they'e one Sapphire down for the 43/44/45. In a morning you can quite often see two or three services being run with a non-sapphire bus.

The transfers from Darlington to Stockton are as follows. 1406,1425,1426,1428,1510 and 1511. As all but 1406 are normal spec and fitted with NSAs (Next Stop Announcement to those who don't know) I imagine the Stockton 7s will made up of the 5 transfered pulsars and 2805 for the foreseeable.

The two silver DAF Deckers for the park and ride in Whitby 7609&10 were parked up in Redcar last night without vinyls. I assume they will be transferred to Whitby today and be vinyled up by tomorrow as I believe the park and ride starts tomorrow?

The X66 boards appear to be more than a temporary transfer - the change registered on Friday from the 20th May sees the 2130 66 to Whinfield replaced by an X66 at the same time to Middlesbrough to cut the dead mileage incurred by Stockton at present.
1416 was returned due to a number of issues.
