I believe the open top is just for private hires as opposed to service work, from what I have heard anyway.

(24 May 2017, 1:33 pm)S813 FVK Yes, it will be used for the Durham Brass Festival in early July. It has been repainted pink gold instruments to correspond with the identity of the festival.
It has also been reregisted to E2 STX, a registration previously held by Enviro 200 MH07 EPY.

It has also been reregisted to E2 STX, a registration previously held by Enviro 200 MH07 EPY.

Following the award of additional contracts, the first of our six ex London Volvo B7TL's have arrived at the depot, with the rest to follow this week along with a single deck Optare Solo. They'll be going in to service in July and September.

Saw one of their new deckers on a Nexus workers service tonight.
It was the first time I'd seen one in service.
They haven't got the blinds sorted it appears!
Cardboard number displays in this weather, leaning against a window that's prone to moisture...
Seems that Stanley travel have the bus for the Durham brass festival. Is this an annual thing?
Can't say I fancy the top deck, this morning!
