I don't know if any of the subscribing bus companies have services to Jedburgh, mind. There is a daily shopping bus (131) from Jedburgh to Newcastle, then back again a few hours later. Onlly a 100 minute journey, which isn't at all bad. Not possible with an explorer, mind.
