Not late, but an early running record.
During the holidays, I needed an early 4. Got halfway to the stop and saw it in the distance - which led to me stepping up the pace a bit.
I knew I had left the house early, so checked my phone against the ticket and clock on board.
8mins early!
It should have been at the timing point previous, never mind 10mins up the road.
I was wondering if it was an earlier bus running late - the two passengers plus me (including a noticeable lack of regulars) indicated otherwise.
My connection in Houghton wasn't due for a while, which gave me ample opportunity to check for a 4 following behind.
Nowt appeared in the 10mins I needed to hang about.
Still, the driver managed to get a crafty smoke or several in the lay by behind the Co-op

Hope you put a complaint in

Completely forgot about it until yesterday. Was scooting off for a train and the plan was to do it later that night.
Still have the ticket, so will get it sorted.
Customer Services tend to fob off complaints/comments in my experience, so will not hold my breath with this one.
Ironically, the same timed bus the next day couldn't have been in as less of a rush if he tried.
It was a few mins late and did nowt to make the time up.

You'll have to inform us what the outcome is - and hopefully you'll have more luck than I did.

No joy with previous?
Still haven't had so much as an acknowledgement relating to the 37 complaint.

My last one was with the X3, and everything's been pretty cush for me since then.

Haven't received any email from GNE yet - cos I haven't emailed them
.
Nexus got the complaint re the 37/GCT.
Must admit to never bothering with GNE since being called a liar and them making up routes during the telephone conversation.
Previous discussions/emails were just as pointless.
That must have been 4/5 years ago - so will give it another go and let you all know the response!

Missing it!

I'm not,
Here's another one that's just sprung to mind:
24th August 2012 on a Friday Afternoon with a massive delay on the A1 after a coach driver sadly passing away due to a heart attack then, a lorry overturns on the Scotswood. Took me 50 mins to get from M&S to IKEA that afternoon in Mam's car. Anyone travelling on buses at that time remember it?
I'd just write the entire runs of Sapphire X21/X22 here since that horrid Eco system got installed on the buses.
A few weeks ago I was waiting for a 62 from Four Lane Ends to Killingworth that should of arrived at about 2325. It turned up twenty minutes late and I spent the entire twenty minutes nervously wandering around the bus station thinking that I would have to walk home. I also had a 63 not turning up from Newcastle. I was supposed to get on the 1859 bus but had to wait until half an hour later. The reason I could tell that it didn't turn up was because I got a Slatyford bus home when it should of been from Walkergate depot
Before Christmas i found myself 56 minutes late on Teesside's 12/39 combo, was 4 12's going up linthorpe road in convoy!

August 7th 2013 can beat that - the day of the double dose of accidents on the A19 at Acklam and the A66 in Central Middlesbrough:
Stagecoach's 36s were running around 1 hour 50 minutes late and an extra duplicate working arrived in Stockton about 5 to 2/3 ended up having to go back to the depot as the driver was about to run out of hours
Arriva however took the biscuit - one of their 17As reached the 2 hours late mark (this was back when 17As interworked with the 17Bs to Bassleton Court).
Oh dear.

At least it follows the route it's supposed to.
85/685/X85s not doing too well this evening.
1707 can be a right pain along Warwick Road in Carlisle on a weekday evening, it's bad enough in the car!

At least nothing. It's shambolic. Been the same all week, and every week.
There are complaints on Arriva's Facebook about the X2/X12 too:
''Hello Arriva North East! Do you know why your X12, which is 25 minutes late, has just pulled up at Newcastle Eldon Square and the driver has parked up, turned off and done a disappearing act?''

X12 only now - since Monday it's been X12 throughout.

Ah right never realised. Hope something can be done to the timetable soon though.

X12 is ridiculous service for reliability.
Got put off using it yesterday when I saw it was running 7 minutes late.
Also Arriva it is not the X2 anymore, the full route is the X12 now, please tell this to whoever does your Facebook page.

7 minutes late again!

Now even later since it required a change over and has lost many passengers to the 21 as a result.
This service is an utter joke.
1535 X12 departure arrived at Boro bus station 3 mins prior to departure, yet leaves 4 mins late.

Stockton working so driver change has to take place. Not like he's got a full round trip to do anyway
