Few unusual workings from Stockton today

Prestiges 4037/48 on services 29/29a
Prestiges 4007/69 on services 5/5a
Thought 29/29a was allocated Prestige? Not sure though about the 5/5a , always thought Stockton to be pretty strict with their allocations? Should maybe do the same exercise I did with Redcar but I'd struggle recalling the fleet Stockton has?

Only specific Prestiges should be allocated to 29s though. 4007 was a changeover on 5s for 1459 I think, 4069 started the day on 21A so that must have been a changeover too.
7455 was on the X22 earlier

Why specific Prestiges?!

Love to know the answer myself. Even MG didn't know when I saw him yesterday. The Prestiges in question are 4001, 4006, 4007, 4062, 4063 and 4069.
They have wheelchair and buggy spaces? More than likely the reason if theres some garantee of these options available on 29/29A

Well 4048 is on today!
4041 on 81/81a (where are the B7's?)
4063 abandoned in Guisborough Market Place

And one of 4062/3/9 on 21As
Can't have been 4063. They were waiting for the scrapman to come for it this afternoon.

You wish!
Don't mind a good Prestige but let's be honest we've had our money's worth out of these!

Some are half decent but the image they promote to the customers is terrible. However as we know they're all in their last few months now...

4062 it was on 21A. Apparently 4063 broke down on the 28 from Lingdale at 1235. Was turfing the passengers off to the 5 but the 5 drove off!
B7 7484 30 minutes late on 0850 X93 ex Guisborough. No reason at all other than poor management at Whitby.
Pulsar 1429 needed help to climb Yearby Bank on a 81a working. What do they do the stock at Redcar?

What sort of help?!
Think either the engine or gearbox are done or need attention. I know Yearby is a long steady climb but surely a relatively new vehicle should do better than that? Be a nightmare on X4's!
1446 on the 7
Following seen this afternoon
7490 on X22 Ashington-Newcastle tkt machine said it was 1738 !!!
7492 on X21 Ashington-Newcastle tkt machine said it was 1688 !!!!!!!!
7493 on X14 Newcastle Thropton tkt machine said 0000

The poor performance you are talking about is probably down to the vehicle being in limp mode which is effectively reduced performance to protect certain engine parts from permenant damage
Must be a common trait with Arriva buses then!! You can't possibily be serious ? I have heard that they regulate the engines to save fuel and money and know they all have limiters fitted but there was clearly something amiss with this one.

A lot of modern vehicles have so many computer systems that if they detect something wrong, the engines operate in a limited power mode, as mentioned to try and limit any damage to components. I believe quite a few of Redcars Pulsars are in limp mode... Stocktons tend to get sorted pretty quickly, although we have a few regulars (1490...)

The more I read the more I learn? I not a seasoned pro on here so please excuse my ignorance and questions and thanks for your reply Scott. I guess then that 1429 must be awaiting engineers attention?
Omnicity 4646 is on Service 64.
Must have swopped 4651 overnight? Was on 81's yesterday but going into Boro just on the X93 (1025 to Scarborough). Rather this than a B7.
Pulsar 1506 on the 2 (Darlington)
Omnicity 4664 on the 53 at Cramlington today.
