At the moment, the OmniCitys are meant to work the 5/5a but they are due to move onto 21As in mid-September (once 1550-9 enter service)

It is fairly odd but won't be soon. It appears all 3 (4652/4/8) are allocated to the 21A today though, meaning it's all Pulsars on the 5s. As a result 1901 is on the 15 and 1916 is also out on the 6.

There was 7501 and another in the depot though.

Well put it this way, ANE should've used 7514 to 7521 with 7522 and 7528 with 2 57 reg deckers rather than the 57 reg examples particularly due to the fact that 7514 to 7521 also have buggy bays.

Probably just wants tweaking a bit, 4659 went through a month long spell of failing to complete a full day for the same reason.
Ashington had 7 Lowlanders off the road yesterday, typical of them... Funny as Durhams are always out - they just can't seem to look after stuff - much like Redcar.

Who keep borrowing from Stockton - 4046 reported today on 22/64/64a......until it broke down and got replaced.....by 4037.

Also my ride to Ashington (7506) seemed a lot quicker than 7525 on my way back no words for how slow it was up the hill before Bedlington Station

4043 was on loan to Redcar - not 4046... 4037 got taken off the 28 to give to Redcar when 4043 broke and was replaced by 1452.

I saw two drivers in the normal uniform on the 7 yesterday, it could be shortages or it could be the severe delays that the 7 is currently experiencing due to resurfacing works in Darlington which could possibly see shifts being changed around due to the delays?
Just remembered the X66 had a Pulsar on this morning.

What has 7527 got to do with 7524? Even if they're from the same batch, they're different vehicles...
Agree with mb134 though - more likely to have been down to the driver...

I had a brief ride on one yesterday from Newcastle to Regent Centre and was quite rattly but didn't get to much speed as there was traffic due to roadworks.

I know the driver I had must've been keeping an eye on his green meter closely or; as part of Sapphire care, have been told that if late, not to thrash it to keep satisfaction up (well for smoothness)?

I went on 7526 and 7528 yesterday and they were both decent machines, capable of running an express style service. I think someone has history in disliking E400s anyway.

I'm not necessarily saying it's the bus! All buses take time to break in. The CC B9TL's felt a bit 'delayed' when they first went into service back in Februrary.

Also the plugs worked
(Note on 7524, yesterday it passed me at Bedlington on an X21 to Newcastle 8-9 minutes late, by the time it got back as an X22 it was on time so the driver today may have taken a big part in Davey Bowyers experience)

I found 7528 and 7522 very smooth and no problems

Someone was saying if arriva are putting 35/35a the same way as x22/x21. They should transfer 4 temsa avenue and they will have a good number for the 35/35a because they will have 3 optare streetlites. Also it will seem very unauthordox that the 35/35a is half sapphire and half non-sapphire branded and if this transfer happens it maybe be for the best(just a suggestion)

7453 is on the X21/22 today
(Which is now my bus to Ashington, no WiFi but at least it's on time...)

Why would they have a route half Sapphire and half not? Defeats the whole object. And the contrast in seating would show up the Temsa seating even more!
