About time.

When the Economic Bus Company was acquired by Tyne and Wear PTE on the 1st January 1975,  a few Leyland Atlanteans were painted into "Economic" colours to mark the 60th anniversary of the business. And guess what is coming up... the 100th anniversary!

Information from the "Busways Travel Services" Wikipedia Page.

Hmm, no it isn't.  The constituent operators of Economic Bus Services started in 1925 so a while yet before their centenary.  Some Atlanteans (8?) were indeed painted in Economic colours but I thought that happened in 1986 at or close to deregulation when Busways re-introduced the Economic branding.  Although of course one or more may have been done in 1985 in commemoration of the 60th anniversary, perhaps someone less senile may recall better than I can?
can anyone take a photo of the two new 300s at Stockton arrived today if you can please. it good to see new buses at Stockton again.

Obviously, they will have to release possible information regarding fleet upgrades for Stockton as I know lots of people have been complaining about the Stockton fleet being outdated and that the remaining S/T/V-plate MAN's have to be replaced by 1st January 2016.
In what way do you mean 'keeping information secret from the public'

Those 2 being SN64OJF/G - these being 27157/8.

They are to be joined by a further 2 this evening, with 2 more everyday for the rest of the week. There's issues of storage being discussed as there's no room for 25 new buses without getting rid of 25 older ones

They've been over the pits all day as there was no sign of them at half 9 this morning when I went past on the 13. I am informed the 2nd pair hadn't turned up by 7pm tonight

Confirmation today that it was SN64OJH that arrived last night - and yes that is 27159.
The lad is from Sunderland so I'm guessing this is a Sunderland E200...
Looks like the junction into Farringdon from Gilley Law/Board Inn roundabout.

Wonder if that will mean the end of 33101?
I'm guessing it will do, but they'll no doubt keep it out for as long as they possibly can

Rather unusually, I've updated our fleet lists mid-period. I've updated the fleet lists to show the 25 new Enviro300s. I'll add the registrations as/when they arrive into the fleet.

I acknowledged the source of the information for a reason...
Photographs of the new Enviro300s have been requested by members of this forum on several occasions now, and as there have been no other photographs posted online (at least from what I have seen), I obliged to screenshot and link to the source of the photograph on your website, for those wishing to view a photograph of one of the new vehicles. I'm not suggesting that this is the case for the user(s) who requested photographs, but some people do struggle with navigating their way around websites, which is why providing the photograph (or at least a screenshot of it) was the best option. Within this screenshot, your 'copyright' logo is also visible - it is clear who posted the image originally, and where it came from.

I think some people are forgetting that information which is available on the public domain is further distributed amongst all enthusiasts almost immediately. As long as the appropriate credit is given, I really cannot see the issue with anyone re-distributing information for the benefit of other enthusiasts.

We're all aware of what the link to your website is. You've got a rather large image in your signature which links to it, after all.
