19153 has broken down outside Heaton Cemetry. Of all places for an engine to die
Earlier on, I saw an unidentified gas bus on the 16, which was booting off passengers and transferring them onto a waiting gas bus.

No idea why

Maybe for re-fueling, not sure where they do change over for stuff like that.

However i would imagine that the

5/5A/8/10/11/12 will be Wilkinson's.

3/4/13/16/18/19 and the 23 - Wheatsheaf?
Sorry, yeah - it was outside the Wheatsheaf.

It was 16833, 16839 is withdrawn but not sure if its still there.
Saw Olympian 16833 on Service X34! Didn't get on it, but it would have been the 13:10 from Newcastle! Running a couple of minutes late.
22666 arrived at Stockton this morning, unsure whether it's for service or storage

I can shed some light on this...

20550 and 841 were both off the road this morning and driving school needed 2 buses...  However it soon came apparent that 666 isn't fitted with duel controls so it went onto route learning it's on again Friday

That will likely have been 22012 (NK03 XJB) which I spotted looking rather freshly done in the yard on my way to work last night (about quarter to midnight).

22471 has now re-entered service at Stockton depot and is expected to replace 22210. 22208 is one of 4 examples dumped in the dead row alongside 22465 this morning.
36081 is currently parked up in Park Lane on side where the 60/61 etc stops, with 2 Engineers on Board
22465 and 22488 left Stockton attached to wreckers I presume they are barnsley bound left approx 0900
22666 out and about in Sunderland, just seen it pass passion on route learning.... if anyone needs a picture of it!
Out of interest, will 16833 be required for the SAFC Park & Ride over at Wheatsheaf, or be at South Shields for Service X34 on Saturday? TIA!

Sunderland are playing at home, so probably will be required for the P&R.

It's returning to Sunderland on Friday night and should return to South Shields on sunday

Followed yesterday by 22472 and another example (trust me to decide to sit at the back of the lower deck of a Trident on the 13), while 22661 and another example (this one being towed from the front so unable to see from the car when passing) departed this morning. Hopefully we'll have a clearer picture in the next few days once the new fleet card is released.

ALX300's have around a year left, I think it will be a mixture of new buses and cascades (I can see more than Teesside getting new buses in the North East). We hope for Enviro 400's to takeover the Tridents, It will be difficult to get them I believe, so we may have to settle for DDA Alx400's until a few become available.
If not Enviro 400 can get over double deckers like Volvo b7tls or plaxton president bodied Dennis trident for stagecoach on Teesside and over single deckers would be nice not alx300.

Anyone know where the SAFC P&Rs stop, currently over back of the Aquatics Centre.

The SAFC Park & Ride observes all stops near Hylton Riverside Retail Park - so you could get the 29 there from the Stadium of Light and ride that back for free.

At the Stop outside the Ticket Office, Gas Bus 28030 is on P&Rs.
Did 16833 end up on the P&R services, then?
