If they're saying that they'll be a "selfie bus" there, I assume that'll be the replacement name for "bendy bus".
There will be a bus there, don't you worry.
I doubt it, a bus is wider, longer and taller than a car. If a bus is at the event, id be very surprised.

Well I hope that Lee is going, no matter if a bus is there. I know how much he likes his selfies.

Are we seriously debating that a Bus is going to be there tomorrow, think it is quite obvious it will be a Cardboard Cut Out.

I'm referring to you taking photos of every train in a different fashion to everyone else
There will be some sort of bus there, maybe that train has been painted into Metrocentre X66 livery.

I think they still have to show the Operators Licence.
There's all that waste space below the tiny rear windows of a Streetlite yet they put the X66 right across the window! I'll say it again, windows are for looking out of and letting in light, not for blocking with badly designed graphics.

I would not say they were 'badly designed graphics'
They are badly designed because they cover the windows.

The vinyls at the back section are in contravision - customers can easily see out of the windows. This, paired with the LED lighting, provides more than enough light in the vehicle.

That doesnt mean the graphics are bad. The positioning of them is what you mean.

Listen, Dan, all we want to know about these..., these, monstrosities, are if one or more are going to be attendance at intu Metrocentre tomorrow?
You cannot see properly through contravision. The highlight of a bus journey for most people is to look out of the windows. Contravision spoils the view, and covering the windows is totally unnecessary. You can design a perfectly good livery or brand without covering the windows. All passengers deserve a good view.

Not much to see between Gateshead and the Metrocentre....

Get yourself down there tomorrow and you'll see! You'll be able to pick up a goodie bag and grab a 'selfie' while you're at it, too.

Who exactly wants to look at Riverside, Handy Drive, Dunston, CentreLink, Askew Road and Gateshead exactly?

Was never confirmed though?
Pedantic, irrelevant and incorrect. The view of the Tyne and the bridges from the X66 route is attractive and impressive and I'd have thought enthusiasts may have liked to view the depot.

That's the job of a bus stop, you ring the bell and get of the bus.

Is there going to be fireworks and buses at the event too?
Intu might deem that as an act of Terrorism and call in the Bomb Squad, bad enough seeing 4 Middle Aged Metronomes prancing about.

But your problem has been answered...you can see out of the rear windows. Why are you still complaining?

Common Sense would make you think that a Bus wasnt going to be in Attendence when they are holding the event inside of the MetroCentre, the "Selfie Bus" in itself should of been the giveaway.

Still pissed off the X3 got Withdrawn.

Bit stupid for me to ask that but what if they do take a bus in there? If there is an actual bus there, well...i'll let you decide the rest.

General question: What is the chances of you using the X66 at least once every month?
I'd have hoped GNE would have held an open day for Enthusiasts, to showcase this year's order. Similar to what Stagecoach did last year with the gas buses. It'd have been a decent outing to have a chat with management and those who design the services and such.
It would also be a nice photo opportunity. Especially for those of us who don't help ourselves (trespass) into the depots regardless.
