A day ticket would be £6.20 I think, so yeah I'd recommend getting a return.

Just ask the driver when you board what the best ticket is to get, but if you're only making the journey there and back, s/he'll probably just say a return.
Cheers both
Just so I've got an idea, do you have an idea on how much this will cost? Thanks in advance

I'd imagine the single fare would either be £2.70 or £3.20?
So possibly £4.50-£5.70.

Cheers, just so I know incase I miss/can't get the Arriva option, or get a lift as (hopefully) planned
Judging by a Tweet by Go North East - it looks like the MetroGnomes will have names, unless I'm mistaken?
Looking at the tweet, I gather 5393's gnome is called Sherbet. He appears to be the yellow gnome. Apologies if it's already been reported or I've taken a completely wrong take on it!
Edit: Just looked it up and it's some sort of attraction by intu MetroCentre! Had no idea about this obviously, as I'm 5 years old!

Err, yep. It would be a bit strange if you thought that MetroGnomes were just by Go North East.
Some four drunken muppets dressed as gnomes in the colours of the malls, except platinum, (hmm, that's an idea. Platinum MetroGnome, the Versa could be painted into X66 livery and have the platinum MetroGnome on the front
) basically singing and dancing to children etc, like I was only three when I watched the MetroGnomes and I was more distracted by the little trolleys with cars on the front.
Here I am again, talking random drivel

A return is £4.50 - just found out
Passed a Lime green Streetlite on the Felling By-Pass. No registration or fleet number visible. Had ''123 Hanover Displays'' on the destination, in white - looked great. Heading northbound, so I assume it's a new arrival.
Took a photo with my phone, albeit poor.

Yeah haha, heading to Sunderland on the X36 from Heworth now. (6099 - upstairs to myself.
)
The Connections4 seems to be running around leap-frogging today. Believe me or not, there were 4 in Concord (two Heworth-bound, two Houghton-le-Spring-bound) when I was boarding 5358!

The 'Mercedes-Benz' on the cab door totally didn't give that one away
I'd love to ride one of the 63 reg B9s although i doubt that they would be much different to the 62 reg? Want to ride an Angel B5 and Streetlite too.

The 4 was leap-frogging yesterday afternoon too, I think some temporary traffic lights are part the reason why this is happening at present.

They're always leapfrogging each other.
The lights at Boundary Houses aren't helping recently like.

Would have thought you'd been on these!
I'd say the Angel B5s are amongst the smoothest vehicles in the fleet, and the 63-reg Volvo B9TLs are still running pretty smooth (considering they run some demanding routes!) in my opinion. Streetlites however, hit and miss. I personally prefer the Drifter examples; the Saltwell Park Streetlite I was on a few weeks ago had no character!

Nah - i'm not the day out on the buses sort of person. I would love to be though but i think it would personally get boring for a while. - 53/54/55 reg MPDs

- 06 reg Gemini
- 02 reg Vyking
- Y/51/52/53/55 reg Solars
- T/W reg Renown Dual Doors
- 07 reg Omnicity
- 58/10/63 reg Citaros
- 63/15 reg Streetlites
- 63 reg Versa 11.7m
- 11/12/63 reg B9s
- 62 reg B5s
- 52/04/54 reg Cadets
- 04 reg Merit
- 09/10/11 reg Versas

It would certainly have more power than the 57 reg sparkling skips up at Arriva's Ashington Depot!

He's talking about the E400s?
I'm not on about all E400s, I'm on about 7501 - 7513 (minus 7510)

Nice Photos Aureolin, I think we can probably guess what the Reg Plates of the remaining Lime Vehicles will be.
5395 - NK15 ENF
5396 - NK15 ENG or K
5404 - NK15 ENS or T
5406 - NK15 ENV
5407 - NK15 ENW
In other News I have just sent a Complaint off to GNE regarding an issue I had with Service 2 on Tuesday using there new Feedback Form, in which at the end I was prompted to join the Passenger Panel and opted to sign up for.
I saw one of the Lime Streetlites this afternoon heading towards Saltmeadows on trade plates. but couldn't get the number so likely one of the two arrived today. I thought it looked very smart in the Lime colour.
