Brilliant. I suggested this (minus gateshesd section) but I'm guessing one of many

However, if they are doing this, why not just follow current route and take Jackson St. It's probably quicker!
i have just seen 4663 NK07 FZF at the back of jesmond depot with yellow wavy painted line around it.

Presumably no longer 'under repair', then?

When Arriva paint wavy lines on their buses, it usually means that they're awaiting disposal (usually scrap).
4721 in service on Saturday.

Yeah, I'm a bit behind on some of my Flickr uploads, it's been a busy few days for me.

Seems a bit pointless. Can't see any future owner putting it back on the road without a repaint at the least!
Arriva Northumbria Blyth-based 7601 (NK59 DMO) was the vehicle in attendance at both Quorum and Blyth MAX launches today. The launch at Quorum was held at the bus stop and Blyth's was at Market Square, with Titan being taken through the Keel Row shopping centre.

Fun and games on the Darlington 7, 8/8A this afternoon.

The 7 and 8 are being diverted via Kirk Merrington between Ferryhill and Chilton due to a two vehicle incident on the A167. No clue as to why the 8 is being diverted as it doesn't even serve that section of the A167.

Why the hell did you put an inspector at Chilton Recreation Ground where the driver can see the road is closed from the stop but you've got no-one at Ferryhill, we got stuck at Darlington Road for over 5 minutes then we had to do a flaming loop and head back into Ferryhill and we're now heading to Kirk Merrington!
Already reported but, 4652 back in service following MAX refurbishment.

For some reason the screen is displaying the destination as 'Daard Castle' in this photo.
Hmm. Hope the headlight area gets pained blue!

I noticed that as well. Also spotted the tiny fleet number on the front.
Arriva seems to have a new thing where the parts around the headlight are black.... small fleet number is a temporary thing to avoid putting a large yellow fleet number on that causes damage to the paintwork when removed.

Really odd request, but does anyone happen to have a close up picture of the orange easy access sign? Is it easy access? It's always on the window next to The first front facing chairs. From the inside, the A looks like a sad man with his hands on his knees sitting in an abstract chair to me and I can't find a picture anywhere.

Yeah, it's 'Easy Access'. Not so much a close up, but large enough to see on this pic;

Yep, Adrian has provided one above.

The "A" is a pushchair/wheelchair and the "Y" is someone jumping.
Well, we popped into Durham, earlier, so big'un could try out his new camera. The outbound diversion for the 22/24 is massive!
There's a new X12 timetable on the Nexus site. Assume it's related to the diversion change tomorrow.
