Filling Potholes, why don't they just completely close it and resurface it from the town center to the A1, would only take a couple of weeks

The pothole camera was around our village, yesterday. Actually surprised it didn't fall down one - there's some serious subsidence on the road it was surveying. (and it did explain why DCC was bizarrely vacuuming up the grit it had spread on the road, just 2 hours previously!)
As reported earlier in the odd workings thread, 1406 back in service at Darlington following MAX refurbishment.

Does anyone know why I've just seen a Sapphire 22 branded Streetlite on the bypass in Gateshead heading towards (What I presume) Low Fell way?

Rescuing the X12?

May be just off to get some work done. There's not been a full complement of them out for a while.

Off to Ashington to really piss off those who dislike Streetlites on the X21? (If so, hope it's 1598. That's the super glitchy one)

It went straight over straight over the flyover and had Not In Service on the rear destination.

No pleasing them, they are annoyed by the regular allocation and whatever gets used in place of the regular allocation [emoji14]

Multi21 made a new thread for the news in March, while people continued to post in the thread for February, so when they were merged together, based on the time of the posts, his post ended up not being at the start of the thread.

The regular allocation of 7501-7509 is the reason why the Streetlites are having to be used. Need I say more?

No! Please... No!

Think we are all aware of what the 57 reg E400's are like, although if you think they are bad you should have seen what the buses were like on the 7 before it became Sapphire, now they were unreliable!

Although unacceptable, the 7 wasn't a 'premium' service. The X21 / X22 are and this is where it starts to become unacceptable if happening on a daily basis especially with 2 or more vehicles off the road.
Looks like another E400 has reentered service as 1580 is on the 35
Credit had to be extended to the guys from Darlington and Stockton for keeping things going on the X66/67 during y'days horrific smash on the A66. A shame that it's undone by one of the bad apples that Arriva have in their workforce. The driver on 1443, the 1450 X67 ex Darlington being a prime example. The job he is paid to do is drive his vehicle and deliver a professional customer service to the passenger, not dish out abuse because he's having a bad day ! Scott (Tyresmoke) will know who he is.

He doesn't wear dark glasses by any chance?

He does wear glasses but not dark ones. I've encountered him before, one of the breed that never smiles, never acknowledges the customers and finds everything about the job a chore. I was going to send Nick Knox an e-mail but can't find is addy.

I've still not had my complaint about one like that even acknowledged by Arriva, despite chasing them. My communication seems to keep mysteriously keep getting lost.
The long-running saga of the extra Temsa entering service is now over

4700 has now re-entered service at Redcar on 22/64/64a

Has anyone heard about how the 685 'Max'ing has been going on?

I heard a rumour 4663 was being worked on with MAX upgrades after its repairs to it's thermal incident a few months ago but that's the last I've heard!
As I travel to/from work I usually pass a Pulsar on 685 - ANE must have another Omnicity VOR (or on local routes etc) to require this?

Think Scott said something the other day about the 685 possibly get a unique brand.

Noticed when I went to Carlisle last Saturday there was at least two Pulsars on along with 4662, think there has been a few sightings of Omnicity's on more local routes in the last few weeks.
