Got 6094 to work now and itt sounds like the 10s clattering like mad
Stupid question but with rest of the Citaro's at Deptford gaining WIFI before they go for refurbishment, is the WIFI activated or will be remain off until after refurbishment?

Already activated - just won't be promoted until after the buses are refurbished.

Thanks, it was a daft question haha
Can you confirm if the Citaro's are stopping on the 9 (along with a full allocation) and 35 at Deptford?

It is my belief that Citaros are coming to Tynedale to replace the Scanias on X84/X85 (which are destined for Deptford).

Ye, the ones which were allocated to the 36.
Hopefully, if the Scania's come to Deptford they drop the Citaro's from the 9 to replace them with Scania's, brand it "Black Cats", means every service at Deptford will be branded.
I was wondering if the 35 will retain Citaro's, it seems likely as nothing else in the fleet could replace them, i would imagine the plans are still inline so all the 10 reg Citaro's are spares?
Chaos on the 93/94 and Q1/Q2.
Presumably the same with the 1, 21 and X21.
Three Q1's on Beacon Lough bank earlier and 2 93's.
Two 94's followed in quick succession in the other direction.
If only there was some sort of flexible route for the X21. Bet that would be a great help

two 94s isn't really something rare to see, when I went to Gateshead College, it was fairly standard to see two of them. If there were two Q2s, however, that meant that there was something seriously wrong.
Google maps says there's works on at New Durham Road and that Old Durham Road is gridlocked at the QE.

That many buses stuck in the same space was quite something. Not a bad sized proportion of the Riverside fleet. Especially if you include the Versa that was stuck whilst on a 69.
Roadwork's at Kells Lane/Chowdene Bank/Durham Road and also Old Durham Road/Queen Elizabeth Ave.
Whilst we are on about roadwork's, Chester Road at Boundary Houses is closed for a few days soon.
Apart from the 37, there will be diversions to the 4, 237/238 and 78/78A.

Yeah. Our X21 was delayed this afternoon. Our 21, this morning, took an hour and 25 minutes to get to Eldon Square from Durham. The delayed X21 dodged down Beaconsfield road, along Saltwell road and then back up allerdene to avoid the Kells Lane Junction on its way back. Particularly feel for X21 drivers because they've got to get through the Neville's cross roadworks in Durham, too. Now they are a special kind of hell - particularly when you're dying for a wee and late for an appointment!
Thankfully the slightly overrunning Kells Lane junction roadworks are now cleared.
When Durham Rd snarls it's pretty impossible to do anything, potentially the X21 could deposit any Low Fell bound passengers onto a 21 at Harlow Green Bridge and divert but I guess that's extreme,
I still think pressure could be relieved with a short running Newcastle to Angel service at peak to hoover up Low Fell to Allerdene customers, , its nicely lined up for the never to happen Eighton Park and Ride
Jackson St and High St West closed again, never bloody open.
My 56 was 4 minutes early this morning , walking to work and all deptford drivers waving and smiling at me .

5317 was towed back on 11/08/2017, returning to service yesterday following repairs.
5318 will be towed back tonight, with 5328 being sent down to Blackburn in exchange.

Thanks for the update.
Did
5298 and 5299 receive WIFI before they went to Blackburn, as the icon is missing from the fleet list.

No, they haven't yet received Wi-Fi. Although it forms part of the refurbishment upgrade, the Wi-Fi is fitted directly by Icomera's engineer here in the North East, rather than at Bus & Coach World (like everything else). That's why everything being refurbished has already received Wi-Fi.
5298 is currently away receiving Eminox modifications at their factory in Gainsborough, and 5299 is away for refurbishment at Blackburn. They'll both be fitted on return from these places, instead.

Ah right thanks.
They seem to flying through the Citaro's now, less than 20 to do now?, not on my computer so can't check the fleet list properly.

There are 8 Citaros away at any one time (as of this evening, it will be 5299 - 5304, 5319 and 5328).
There are 21 Citaros left to go (5298, 5305 - 5309 and 5323 - 5338).
3974 had a lift back off 1001 last night from four lane ends

Thanks, i was close haha
I'm interested to see 37 and 38 after refurbs. They're like the 1980-1990s office scene, yellow cream plastic.

Be interesting to see if they head back to Washington, as the connections 4 ones aren't getting done, they'll have some with and without USB ports.
6088's branding is a mess at the back a few of the flowers is hanging off...
Glad they'll be going for a repaint soon.

Why 'towed'?

4899 is on the 53, on the turn which is 1620 off Gateshead Metro and due Market St at 1648.
Someone on a bus grpup on facebooks just said this "For all of you Go North East veg, just to inform you you will be getting YX58 DXB-DXD, from Metrobus Croydon. Will be a shame to see them go, but I guess it's saved from scrap or a fate."

Would be a bit of an odd move, when Go North East haven't got any Enviro 200s in their fleet at the moment?
