Has it been repaired at all?
They used a LHD example to repair it didn't they, yet looks as though being cannibalized now!!
Its september now we have a month and a few weeks till this years poppy buses come out.

I am thinking maybe a 308 gemini should loose t 308 route branding and given a permenant poppy branding. Also on all other viechles should get a poppy on the side (as stagecoach do. This will be permanent too). All this should be on the buses by october
Would need an awful lot of work to get it back to service, the engine out of 4663 is going into 4655 which has been VOR since July.

Why are Stockton looking to ditch the Streetlites in favour of Pulsars? Are they that unreliable? Do you think Durham would swap their pulsars for Stockton's Streetlites?

I would prefer the streetlites to go from Durham and pulsars to go to Durham

Fantastic  Big Grin

First time I heard that I was highly amused by it, today was no different.

Last I saw of 4663 it had no interior. Certainly not as much work as you think.

It's been a spares donor for a while now.
Durham Gemini’s 7626 & 7627 were swapped with Dewsbury E400s 1915 & 1916 today. They’re expected to be swapped with some Pulsars from Jesmond in due course

What’s this for

X12 to go fully single deck? Not sure it'll need deckers anymore, without the big loadings of students to the Stockton Campus?

It'd make more sense to have a full Pulsar allocation across the 56/57/57A/X12, if they can achieve that with what they have got.
It's the start of a bigger movement that will see the E400s heading to Ashington for the X15.

That theb cascades buses via Blyth and Jesmond to Durham.

X12 will be all single deck soon, but in the meantime the E400s will run at Durham.
About time they got rid of all the 74** shite from Blyth. Why not bring back 7609/10, 7618-20 and 7626/7 to replace them? Would make sense to have the entire DD fleet from 7601-37 there for uniformity.

They wasted no time pressing them into service at Belmont, 1915 was noted on service 43 whilst 1916 was on the 56/57/57A/86 circuit today.

Will 1915/16 be renumbered or will it stay as is
(11 Sep 2018, 12:52 pm)V514DFT wrote [ -> ]Will 1915/16 be renumbered or will it stay as is

Likely to be 7553 and 7554 as 1915 and 1916 are currently DAF Cadets at Stockton.
More than likely to be renumbered - 7626 has likewise been renumbered in Yorkshire before entry into service (as their 1551).

Reports on the 'Travel West Yorkshire' Forum confirmed the other pair of Geminis moving to Yorkshire are 7618/9 (likely to become 1549/50) in exchange for Yorkshire's 1917/8 (SN15 LLF/G).
