It'd make more sense to have a full Pulsar allocation across the 56/57/57A/X12, if they can achieve that with what they have got.
Saturday mornings excepted. Still full by Coxhoe, through the summer.

Imaging GNE taking all the deckers off a flagship route just because a college shut.

If they saw a significant decrease in daily loadings they'd do the same too. There's better places for the DB300s to be utilised than going around half empty on the X12.
The swaps are enabling a much needed upgrade at Northumbria, meaning that the X15 can have a reliable fleet, and that the elderly E400s move onto less taxing routes before they're withdrawn.
Talking of which, at least one of the "Grand Yorkshire Conections" (or something along those lines)E400s was on the X12, today. Amused to see route number vinyls still on one!

Both of them were - 7553 should still be out now on the last departure from Newcastle to Middlesbrough. Both have had their fleetnumbers changed but retain their Yorkshire branding (and I should imagine will do so until the movements are completed - presumably seeing them gain X15 branding in some way shape or form).
1496 was not safety checked properly this morning as in the safety check you have to check the pressure in the doors so they don't fly whilst the viechle is moving and whilst it was serving on the 11:07 308 to blyth the door flew abit open. This has been the case with blyth's 2810 which has a door which cant shut properly and ashington's 2813 which has both of their doors open abit lest to flap about. Arriva really don't care about how safe their buses are they only care that they have the right amount of viechles and are on time. Also last week a 306 cut across the queu at haymarket to get to the 309 stand instead of delaying its self enen more to be safe but instead he did that because he arrived 3 mins after depart. The 309 driver stoped in the X18 stand webt to the 306 driver got him to move but the 306 refused and the 309 driver called him a f*cking idiot

Or it could have developed the fault during it's first couple of runs...

Or months. Back in April the same door wouldn't shut properly. Also 2810/3 need sorted out as that isn't safe

Raise the issue with the Traffic Commissioner if you arecso concerned.
7556 has entered service on the X12 today - it was the 0835 from Middlesbrough.

Maybe abit of an exageration
Which Pulsars are getting refurbished at Belmont?
Can we keep the sarcastic comments to ourselves please? There is no need for them. Fair enough a pretty ridiculous comment has been made, but there is plenty of room to make a factual argument in return.
Has Arriva North East got an Yorkshire Tiger learner bus at the moment? I have seen it twice today in Bedlington and Blyth

Yes, on loan to Ashington, whilst the B7 decker has modifications done. Probably only here until end of next week. I think it's a Centro.

Optare Tempo up there on loan I believe.
A 52/54 streetlite & interurban pulsar were at blyth depot at around 10:22 this morning. Probably here for MOT
If anyone is interested, I have produced an artwork impression of the potential new livery for services 22, 23 and 24, should they be combined when the refurbished Pulsars enter service next week!
Your thoughts would be appreciated!

1766 has had it's full rear ad removed and it looks like it has just returned from war.
Should have kept it on for longer. It is nothing short of a cheap home job. It is completely ruined.

If the advertisement company discontinue the contract to advertise, Arriva will remove the ad.

Please look and tell me how awful 1766 looks now.
Completely ruined is a bit of an over exaggeration.
