The start of the new school/college year means that 7538 is once again booked on the 1/5A/19 board that does the morning Bishop Auckland College 5A run - however 7535 is covering it today

Not a clue, might have just been a odd working, as the 12 has a low bridge on route at Middleton st George, 2841 is on the 16:20 service 1 and 17:20 service 86

7538 must of just been a odd working as the same run I saw 7538 on yesterday is a Streetlite this afternoon (16:22 5A off Bishop).

Quite a few Sapphire Enviro 400's off route at Jesmond today.
At 12:45 I saw one on 306 and 7507 was the double deck school day 685.
At 17:30 there was 3 in a row at Longbenton. 7522 on 52, one on 553 and one on 55.
Pulsar was on ED4 this morning with 1597 on the return journey.
Since the college doesn't officially go back until Monday Pulsars have been allocated to the ED4 opposed to Deckers.
1461 was on this morning with 1474 on the return journey.
Yesterday 1440 on 64/64A.
Sapphire Streetlite 1572 adding some sparkle to the 63 this afternoon.
