Anyine think Stagecoach will have a promotional livery for the extention on Service 1(Slatyford-Coach Lane Campus) like they did for the 22

They said it would be 10 vehicles swapped each way, because it looks like they want to abolish MAN E200s off the 6/7/8 at Newcastle.

What would take the 6/7/8 place?

The Enviro 200s from South Shields.

So before anyone gets confused, here is what was planned previously:
10x ADL Enviro 200s from South Shields to go to Slatyford, with 10x MANs going in the other direction to Shields.
Then...
10x ADL Enviro 200s from Sunderland to Hartlepool, with 10x MANs to Sunderland.

None of these transfers have taken place yet. Although if anybody has any information regarding this, it would be much appreciated.
A coach builder and maintenance engineer from Penshaw, who has worked on hundreds of the region’s Stagecoach North East buses at the depot in Sunderland, is retiring after 50 years of service.

South Shields ADL E300 27740 has broken down this evening operating the "E" services and it looks as if it will be towed back to the depot.

I wonder what caused the breakdown?

In regards to Enviro 300s, 27739 has returned to service fully repainted.
S830OFT. DO YOU KNOW WHICH ADL200s are going from Shields depot when it happens. Robin

I would imagine it would be the 61 plates as the batch of 37301 - 37319 are at Shields for use on services 3/4/7/8/12.

The ball will start rolling on that one in a couple of weeks, there's a few MOT's to get through on them first.

Is it the older 59 plates that will be leaving Sunderland?
Dan. Do you know which one's will leave Shields? Robin

It did get towed back to the depot last night and surprisingly it has apparently been covering for an ADL E400 on the X34 today.

Sure I reported on a forlorn looking X24A a month or two back.
Can't remember the vehicle type unfortunately.

There were also reports from a few of us on the forum (including myself) of one failing on the Felling Bypass.
It was this year, but can't remember when.

I noted 24002 having broken down on the roundabout near Gateshead High Street early August.

Did notice both 24001/02 out in service all of Saturday though! Didn't see the third bus at any point during the day though.
Dan. Hello from Robin do you know if and when will the Shields buses be leaving soon is it the 36's that are going or the 37's. Robin
Anyone know if Stagecoach have any paper timetables available for the night bus services in Newcastle, not seen any yet?
22428 has entered service this morning, on the 6/7. 22424 isn't far behind at Walkergate.

I don't believe so, just promotional stuff. The web timetables are still mock-ups, Marketing haven't produced proper ones yet, but suppose they might push further promotional paper stuff with timetables if/when they do.

At the back of the bus it smells of paint, they must have done a interior repaint on the walls.

Is this the correct Dart Fleet?
34605 - Sunderland - Reinstated to full service with 35189 now at Hartlepool
34611 - Sunderland Reserve
35188 - South Shields Reserve
35189 - Hartlepool Loan (Covering for 36466)

As far as im aware 34605 is still in the reserve fleet and 34611 is in the training fleet as a route learner
