Them two are not due to transfer to Newcastle.

Movements up to now, bold being the ones have arrived at their intended depot:
36081/82/83/84/85/86/87/88/89/90 [Sunderland to Hartlepool]
36468/69/70/71/72/73/74/75/76/77 [South Shields to Slatyford]
39671/72/73/74/75, 39710/11/12/13/14 [Hartlepool to Sunderland]
39705/06/15/16/17/18/19/20/21/22 [Slatyford to South Shields]

I have conflicting info on a couple of them from separate sources, so some confirmation on errors from recent sightings appreciated.

Do you know if they will ever leave for a other depot in the future. Robin

In the long term maybe one day, but nothing planned for them at present on the back of the recent swaps though.
Plans change all the time particularly depending on costings and reliability, which is how we've gotten to see the recent swaps. Depending on how well the even spread of the MAN 39s has gone down among depots, that may kickstart another idea.

Is 39715/719 still coming as part of the swap with Shields depot. Robin

Currently on 28010 on the 4, other 4's have been enviro's.

Do you know if Shields are getting the last two 39’s being 39715/719 or not. Robin

The above posts confirms, they're going to shields but not sure when, i don't live in that area so would have no idea if they've arrived or not.

39719 has also landed at South Shields - just 39715 and 36473 to swap between Slatyford and Shields.

You don't need to ask the same question individually to everyone. That's the idea of a Forum!

Why are Hartlepool and sunderland swapping buses seems pointless
(23 Oct 2018, 10:42 pm)Acky81 wrote [ -> ]Why are Hartlepool and sunderland swapping buses seems pointless

Main Reason is so the MANVIROs can stay off the 1 as they are unreliable for that service.

So Sunderland gets unreliable buses that’s good. So we get omnilink rubbish from Scotland and now clapped out bangers from Hartlepool. Thank god we have gas buses
36087 and 39671 swapped over yesterday, 36088 swapped for 39711 today.

The gas buses i really do like now, used to hate but think they're a very good, comfy and quiet ride. A idea i would like is if the omnilinks (as much as i love them) to be replaced by the E400 gas buses. I really enjoyed riding the demonstrator last year, it was smooth, comfy and would fit in well with the gas buses. It was also pretty full too, maybe the idea of double deckers would attack more people (like me when i saw it)

Every time ive seen the 1 lately its been operated with MANs with the ADLs on the 3/6/7s

The 'official' fleet card does suggest that the preferred allocation is the opposite way round. I do recall something said a while back about the MANs having poor timekeeping on the 1 being a bit slower off the mark.

Interesting - I would've thought the MANs pulled away quicker, especially the former South Shields ones.

Don't profess to have travelled on the MANs regularly, but I've always thought they felt quite quick as a passenger! Perhaps just the gearbox being at high revs and whining that gives that impression though.
In my opinion I've always found the 08 plate MANs that Hartlepool have to be ideally suited to the service 1 as I can't really recall one struggling along the Tees Road which is where I'm guessing that people are saying the issues are
Dan. Do you know if the last two 39's have arrived at Shields depot yet or not because 36478/9 have been seen today on service 10/11 to Jarrow. Robin
39672 has a cracked destination screen.
