8304 is there now. Once that is done, it will be swapped for 8305.

Do you know if the Cobalt Clippers will have their make over this side of christmas?
And have they had updated (Emma Hignett) NSAs rolled out yet or would that wait until the repainting?

Giving the Fact all 63 plates need doing should say Drifter's and Saltwell Parks
I would suggest 5401 immediately after 8305, then hopefully they can get stuck into the Cobalt Clipper repaints afterwards?

5401 depends on vor rates at chester/crook more than anything.

On paper the 63-plates are due but the Saltwell Park did have a little refresh with the updated cant rail design and actually I'd say both of those sets of buses are still looking in pretty reasonable condition? They've aged well, aside from the fact that the majority of the cant rails on the Saltwell Park have missing bits at the moment!
5396 just got crashed in to by a car at Park Lane, car came out of Olive Street.
Front near the doors all bashed in
Btw, i was on the bus.. the car just pulled out

Ye they do, the FAB 56 is desperate though.

Hope the whiplash isn't too bad and you managed to get your 'no win/no fee' claim logged!

Nee point, the bus traveling at about 10mph haha, you've got no chance these days with all the speed trackers etc on the buses... ha

They're spotless and have recently have repaints or have been touched up.
All 58s had touch ups with cant rails.
All ex58s now Quaylinks were totally repainted.
5389/5390 both have had repaints/touchups.
5386 has also since been redone into Q1.

Hi, just a head up that the Poppy Bus is out and about. Seen on lay over area at Heworth about 10 mins ago. Typically I’m on the X9 so missed it for a snap and I doubt it’ll still be out when I get back up. Hope this helps

It's being used on a Private Hire today for the Royal British Legion.

Drifter, Saltwell Park and Connections 4 brands, still look brand new, so i think they'll wait another year before those go in for repaint now.
Venture was also redone last year too.
Only 2 routes which need doing are the FAB 56 and Cobalt Clipper.... Cobalt Clipper would look decent in Black and Silver branding.

5377-84 need repainting. Different shades of orange have been used on touch ups, some had every 10 mins on them, but frequency was reduced to 12 mins, and only the 0 was removed on some or 10 on others leaving a gap in branding, I think only one had 12 applied.
Really cannot see the point of repainting 4949 from poppy to corporate, since it will be withdrawn in 1 year. Should have been left as poppy and allocated to Green Arrow as replacement for 4944, or repainted as a Green Arrow.
