According to Bus Times 36478 has been working from Slatyford this afternoon
Is it on loan or is it a transfer to Newcastle if so what are shields getting instead!
It appears another vehicle may be tracking as it due to tracking as service 4 within South Shields depot at 14:22 then tracking as operating service 32 in Newcastle at 14:52?
It’s at Slatyford due to driver posting it on a Facebook group I run
Is 36478 still at Newcastle or back at Shields depot!

It's been swapped with 36474 I believe, engineering trial.
Is that at shields depot for engineering test or for good!
Just temporary for now. It'll probably swap back at some point, in a few weeks?
Will it be aloud to do a couple of services in Shields area!
36474 is on the 17/18 today
Robin - Bustimes.org is a great site for tracking buses (although if ticket machines swapped it can be wrong), it also gives you, the services the location operates, fleet lists and the code for VOSA, for upcoming changes.

I think I have just seen it pass the end of my street, but I was glad to see it back where it belonged. Please can you send me a picture of it!

Do you know what the trail is for?
Just a guess but thinking it might be related to Euro 6 conversions
Seems weird because isn't 36474 and 36478 from the batch? so would be the exact same?
I will not be asking any more questions about 36474 or anything else?

Yeah they are from the same batch but just thinking one of them might have had some modifications (euro 6 was just a suggestion) and they want to trail it before converting the rest of that batch.
Yes I think it is related to Euro6 conversions.

So has 36474 had a new engine or just exhaust modifications?

When will the Clean Air Zone come into effect in Newcastle, assuming it has been delayed due to COVID-19? Will the remaining MAN ALX300s, Ex-Scottish MAN E300s and 193xx / 194xx ADL E400s be replaced, swapped or upgraded to Euro 6 in the next few months?

If the CAZ is still going ahead as planned then surely the North East will be on the priority list for orders this year?
Is it 36474 or 36478 that has received the Euro 6 modifications?

I shared a link a month or two back, about the delays to various clean air zones across the country, which were due to start this year. I can't remember if anything has been confirmed regarding the zones starting next year.

Leeds has been delayed by a year to 2021 as has Birmingham’s so one may suggest that all CA Zones will be delayed by approx 1 year, so Newcastle’s potentially would be 2022 if going by that.
Is 36474 back at Shields depot for a while!

36474 I believe is modified to be Euro6. I assume it’s an exhaust mod completed on it, and on loan to Shields to compare with their existing fleet.
Is 36474 back at Newcastle or still at Shields depot!

I'd imagine it'll be there for a few weeks.
36474 is out in service today on 3,4,7. 8. So wouldn't say they will have been swapped back that quick
Thanks for giving me that bit of good news about 36474 staying for a few weeks. Any thing Changed about it, please can you send me a photo!
