Good luck to them.

Mind, if this batch of bendies are like the ones out in Malta, then it really will be a Red Rocket as they bomb down the Motorway!
Don't worry about that I think they've already had one broken down on M61 the other week either just before or just after they started the service
One of the Marshall Darts withdrawn when Stagecoach bought out Firsts Chester Depot has turned up on EBAY for sale:

Another Citaro to join the fleet at Oldham Depot from Bury is 60282, also not sure if its been reported but ex demo Citaro 64029 is currently off the road at Bury Depot with accident damage
Planned changes to bus services

The following bus services are changing on 13 October:

319 St Helens - Ormskirk run by South Lancs Travel
Following its introduction last month, the 0800 bus has encountered severe traffic
congestion en-route to Ormskirk. So, to improve reliability, the bus will be retimed to
depart at 0750 and run non-stop between Rainford and Edge Hill University.

411 Woodside - New Brighton run for Merseytravel by Arriva
This service will now be run, without subsidy, by Avon Buses.
he route and the times will remain unchanged.

The changes to Routes 39C, 107, 164, 165, 203, 207, 208 and 411 are a result of
Impera, who stopped running their bus services last week. These changes were only
finalised on Friday 11 October. New timetables for these bus services will appear online soon.
the 319 change is a good one, the service as a whole could do with looking into
couple of odd things tonight

Marshall Dart 7650 managed to survive on the 10A lates right until the end!

Me and Night Driver did the 10:45pm 320 Service from Ashton and no one got on for the entire trip :O
7649 was on the 61 today, been a while since i noticed a single decker out on that route

the Afternoon 345 from Liverpool to Skem was done by Enviro 400 4428.
Good friend of mine who actually lives on 320 route would class that as a good trip as from what most drivers will say "An empty bus is a happy bus"

Seriously though you'll be surprised how many services around about this time seem to die a death passenger wise, there's even a few round Greater Manchester, take First Oldham Depot's 59 route for example quite a busy commercial service during the day but take 23:11 Middleton-Oldham Mumps journey for example, I've done this trip many times with various driver friends of mine from Oldham Depot and you can actually go all the way from Middleton-Oldham quite regularly without picking anyone up and as far as I know its commercial aswell and not tendered.

Sorry for going off-topic but just wanted to show that its not just 320s that have quiet runs other services by other operators do aswell
I think quite often from what I keep reading elsewhere that the afternoon 345 to Skem is an Enviro 400, not a bad route that evening 345 as not only does it run on Motorway it also covers parts of Skem that other services seem to miss out.
Another rare or odd sighting seemed to happen yesterday when the on loan Pulsar2 was out on 80As.

With more people joining from the North West i thought this feed would be a great idea to add to the forum

Wright Pulsar 2 3047 returned from Blackburn Bus and Coach world yesterday morning, it has been painted into a Gold Livery to Advertise the fact that Arriva North West has won the Investors of People Award. it will be visiting every North West Depot.
I have a ride of Wright Axcess Floline Y962 XBU last night from Liverpool to Stagecoach Rock Ferry Depot, it shakes while idle and it seems to be short on power unlike its sister Bus Y961 XBU thats perfect in all Departments!

I thought St helens Depot was suffering a bit of a shortage of vehicles at the moment - the fact that 3047 is visiting everywhere certainly won't help matters.
Fair point about 3047 but its doing exactly the same as what the Arriva Yorkshire Gemini has done recently from Selby Depot, that's been touring various Arriva Depot's but I'm led to believe it might be repainted back into Arriva livery once the promotion finishes
Plaxton Pointer 2 dart 2249 was shockingly on the 10 today, got a ride of it myself and it did not like hills at all, Wright Renown 2705 was also on the 10 and was the duty behind the Dart.

A bit rare aswell was Wright Renown 2706 doing the last 89 of the day, normally the late men swap the Bus for a Pulsar but not tonight, dont blame him Wink
Wright Commander 2603 was oddly on the 500 Express Service today, normally the only Commanders to make it onto the route is 2601 and 2602 as they are fitted with Luggage racks whereas the rest are not

I have a ride on Loan Dart 2247 today on route 78 from Liverpool to Halewood, Very slow Bus...
Boltons first Ex London 52 Plated Plaxton President has arrived!
Found a photo online of R872 LHG, one of the Ex CMT Wright Liberators, question is how many are there in total..
http://www.flickriver.com/groups/1496321...teresting/
To be honest with you I'm not to sure how many Liberators JPT have got and unfournatly I'm not able to find out at the moment either due to being tied up with a BTEC2 Hospitality & Catering Principles Course I'm doing at the moment.

No doubt you'll find out today or I'll try and find out from one of the drivers I know at JPT
Obviously just for Schools but hoping it gets to do the odd 715 or even one of the peak 575s that just do Bolton-Wigan-Bolton, haven been on one of Wythenshawe's Presidents I am impressed with these and there better than the DLAs in my opinion
Hope a member on DartSLF doesn't mind me posting this but apparently 4016 had one of its door windows broke while out on a School Service yesterday afternoon

May i also Warn people i do NOT like my information being copied since a certain member on this site seems to think its ok to post my information in other online groups!
Terence I don't want it to sound that I'm having a go at you as its not in my nature to be awful to anybody, infact I've been brought up to forgive and forget but apart from what I did last Sunday I don't know what I've done to upset you in anyway, as far as this forum is concerned its a public forum so I will continue posting and you did give me the link remember
I start this thread with information about a forthcoming service change which I just found out about from the November Lancashire County Council Changes Leaflet.

The 319 from 25th November - the 0945 (from St Helens) and the 1231 (from Ormskirk) will be re-routed to run via Rainford By-Pass and no longer serve Bickerstaffe.
