Looks like all positive changes for when the Bee Network on 24th September 2023.
When Bee Network bus services launch on 24 September, improvements are planned in Bolton, Wigan and parts of Bury, Salford and Manchester – the first to be brought under local control – that will see them run earlier and later, better integrating them with first and last train and tram services.

Wonder how long it'll last though.

I know you posted this a few weeks ago but I don't see the point. If you're going to take the routes over then they should be redesigned to remove the territories. Taking them over and just running the exact same services then what the hell is the point even if they have minor frequency increases.

Be interesting to see how it goes over the next year or so.

Several timetables on the TfGM/Bee Network website just advertise Bee Network without mentioning the operator such as Go North West.
Just looking on the GNW website they want a cleaner on a 38hr contract min wage (10.42) to work between 1800-02:00 which is ridiculous hours for min wage, but I mean alteast they are wanting to get their buses cleaned, cannot say the same for their sister company which clearly couldnt give a **** about presentation

If I was going to get anything...
It would be the GNE 638 (with a Go-ahead Gateshead National) on my heart.
The GNE 71 (with an ex-London Marshall Dart) on my left bum cheek. Need to identify another service that I dislike for the right bum cheek.

Be interesting to see if Stagecoach use it as a chance to improve other areas, rather than flogging all their buses to Metroline. Wouldn't be too surprised to see the newer stock being swapped with the likes of the 58 plates up here as a chance to get arid of their old stuff for a price.

Stockport is due to receive 170 new electric buses later this year.
I think the newer buses will remain with Stagecoach, inside and outside Manchester, but that they may loan or sell the older buses - namely 2008/09 Enviro 400s - to Metroline if they need any initially for services taken over from Stagecoach Manchester.

Aye that's my thoughts aswell, if I had to be honest. Apart from the few school buses using old stuff. I don't think there's much stuff needed inside Manchester is there?
Mind it'll be interesting to see where Metroline manages to get all these buses from if they don't sell them at all (believe they will though). It's a sizable fleet with only really London to displace stuff from.
Some buses for Bee Network are being refurbished, being painted yellow and given grey seats and yellow grabrails. Examples I rode on Thursday are Go North West ex Diamond Streetdeck 3477 and Stagecoach ex First Enviro 300 27955.
Does anyone have a copy of the current edition of the official fleetcard for Stagecoach CNL that they could share?
It is my understanding that Transdev have purchased the operations of Arriva North West, Arriva Cymru and Arriva Yorkshire.

I've seen a document doing the rounds but that has proved to be a fake. Otherwise they've got several key details wrong, including somebody using the wrong letterhead.

If that understanding was based on a rather sketchy letter circulated on Discord and Facebook then it’s been confirmed to be fake.
Even before the confirmation there were multiple elements of the letter which made little sense from a business POV, and not getting the name of Arriva’s parent company correct was a basic error.
