On loan while furloughed at Stockton to help cover services while Redcar have a number of vehicles missing.

Looks like Redcar are really struggling with 4 to 5 Stockton buses on loan. What would actually happen if more buses are declared failures. Would other depots step in or would they just withdraw services. Does not look promising for the current Red car fleet

They would probably do the same as Belmont and loan other vehicles and/or drivers from other areas or even local independents.

Believe there is only the 3 Centro’s (1534-6) on loan at present but equally there are some Redcar vehicles parked up not needed.
Stockton have been helping to cover a handful of services when needed with their own drivers

1534/5 have now returned to Stockton

Not yet mentioned on here is the arrival of two VDL SB200/Wright Commanders from the North West fleet for the driver training fleet - 8263/4 (CX06 BJF/J), due to become 9998/9999, although CJJ is currently running around as 9998. They replace the last DAF SB3000 coach, 9992 (V213 DJR) as well as Volvo B10BLE/Alexander ALX300 9997 (W296 PPT) - both of which have been sold for scrap. Also joining Stockton's training fleet on-loan from Arriva London is Alexander Dennis Enviro400 T28 (LJ08 CVC) which arrived yesterday and was straight out in use. Understand a few further training vehicles are due from London soon on loan. Volvo B7TL 9995 is also now back at Stockton ahead of a major training boom starting in the coming weeks.
Arriva Northumbria (Blyth) VDL DB300 Gemini 2 7614 NK59DMZ appeared at Belmont today on loan
Redcar’s 1429/32 apparently moving to Blyth as part of this merry go round

They may be replacements for Solos 2801/2 which are currently marked up NFS. Looks like Blyth will end up with no minibuses left soon bar a couple of Solos for the 58 service.

Thought I seen a frequenta pulsar in Blyth depot yesterday
I'm wondering how arriva are going to do in Blyth getting deckers onto school runs as they're 5 deckers down (not including VORs) from this time last year, they were already atrocious at it on the X7 when they un neededly cancelled the dupe due to not being council funded, often putting single deckers on the X7 which got packed with deckers on quieter runs on other routes, deckers on school runs should be number 1 priority, I'd recommend Blyth swap some pulsars from the X7/8/9 out to another area fir deckers for schools and just in general busy duties

Mods move if in the wrong place

1432 is now at Blyth
1432 operating the X7/X8/X9 today with 63 branding, if you want a photo it's tracking as 2821 which is also tracking as itself.
1429 also in service at Blyth with 63 branding on the 2/X16 tracking as SP-BH

308 and X10/11 are always DD. X7/8/9 is mix of DD and Pulsar, in the past the X9 would be Pulsar only but as they run off the same running board as the 7 and 8 they will sometimes be DD. Service 1 and 2 will be all Pulsar when the last Solos are phased out, which will help them to cope with the reduced 30 min service compared to the pre covid 20 min schedule.

Looks like they have been swapped as I am told 2801/2 are now at Redcar

Absolute desperation for vehicles in some areas im told. Even with reduced PVR, the gaps and slowdown in parts and availablity + COVID affecting engineering staff in much the same way as it is hurting drivers means a number of vehicles are awaiting repair.

The Pulsars to Blyth is a permanent move so I'm told. Completes the allocation for the reduced 1/2.

Hope it lasted longer in service than it did at redcar
SP RR is currently on the Frequenta 63 presumably 2801 or 2802
1534 and 36 are still at redcar. 1534 was on the x3 this morning

My guess probably Darlington giving the amount of withdrawal

I've heard Redacr although seems a bit of an odd choice if true, Darlington would probs make most sense given they already have Scania's.

Whether they go to redcar and then pulsar go to Darlington
