The enviro400s? Sad

No, the dual-door Volvo B7/Gemini (6901-19)… obvious really that a native single-door B7 of a similar age would out-live that of a dual-door example.

Is there much difference in the mileage between the native and ex-London. I would imagine the ex-London examples have considerably more miles on them

Ah gotcha.
The native B7TLs will have a fair amount of miles on them. The advantage that they have are single door, higher capacity, new to GNE and are probably geared for operating around the area.

You think? I'd say the other way around me like. They've been raggled on long distance routes all their life whereas buses in London do about 5 mile in 30 mins if they're lucky.

Curious myself now tbf.
I went to Sandtoft Trolleybus museum near Doncaster on 3942 when it was 2 months old.
Has the final 2 B7RLEs been progressed any further? They been up here 6 months or so now

Photo not by me but there is the first Enviro 400 in the Fleet Base Livery with a blue front
Is the blue front making a comeback?

Just on the E400 / E400MMC I think as it actually suits the panels.
Not more blue panels!
Once they are all done the line up is going to look very smart, just the rest of the fleet (minus X-Lines) to repaint into corporate livery then job done for a few years
Who knew this would happen. 646 is back alive and in service

Given the recent challenges GNE have faced, will corporate livery likely be the way forward?
Need a settled network (hopefully the up coming changes work) and a reliable simplistic view of running the service, no gimmicks (comfort a must) no more new pointless brands, a livery that visitors to the area will recognise as being from the same company and clean on the inside and out, not too much to ask for

As much as I dislike the paint jobs, I'd argue it's probably way down the list of priorities.

The network and drivers need to be top of the pile and the main focus imo.
It doesn't matter what colour the buses are if you don't have a viable network and reliable staff to get the vehicles moving.

Yeah, obviously that's the main prioroty but over time?
Random question, is 6154 the only vehicle ever to be painted out of 2019 corporate livery?

And how long was it in 2019 Corp livery between its ToonLink & EG Rider periods?

6154 was involved in a bad accident whilst operating Metro Replacements between Gateshead and South Hylton.  The accident happened on Chester Road, outside of Sunderland University.  It was repaired and repainted into 2019 Corporate livery as Toonlink was know longer a livery.

None from me, someone had conveniently parked a car in the way when I paid a visit.

Will this be a second spare for toon tour then? As they have 3 painted for it already with only a PVR of 2.
