Its rare on the 2, as it can't be a double decker past Sunderland due to the low bridge at FatField.

Well according to the PDF timetable, those 2 journeys that 3943 operated this evening should be allocated a “Blue 61 livery bus”! A tad premature considering they don’t currently have any ‘Blue’ buses.
Might as well disband this thread, as everything seems to be mixed up these days!

The Rare and Odd Workings threads were created in a world pre-bustimes and vehicle tracking, where if a rare/odd allocation happened it relied on direct sightings for it to be reported. Now with Bustimes, although not entirely accurate, it does largely remove the need for this thread, as if someone wanted to go out and photograph an odd working they can just track it.

Couldn't agree more. Been saying the same thing for years. Rare workings are not actually rare and haven't been for years.
The only time I really think a rare working is rare, is when its a bus from a different depot operating a route from a different depot.
e.g Metrocentre Express 39** on X20
Connections 4 on 20
Pinks 20
Pinks X6/62

I mean, at least the front's a similar colour. Anyway, good to be in Durham advertising connections to Tunstall Bank Estate and a ticket only valid in the Sunderland urban area

What's rare or odd about this? Go North East have sub-contracted duties out to A-line Coaches now for many months at whichever depot has the most need - that was Riverside for a long time, but more recently Deptford, Washington and Consett too.

Its just imo an odd working as Alines haven't really done Deptford therefore it was rare to see.

You reported 6307 on the X20 yesterday.
If it was 'rare' yesterday, then it shouldn't be 'rare' today, as you've already observed it.

There's a little coasters (691) parked up in Park Lane - one of the ones made redundent due to changes in NT or just on loan?

The 69 lot are still at Percy Main. I'm guessing they moved one to Deptford for spare solos

6048 is rare on X72 because of the low bridge on the X30.....

What low bridge on the X30?
There's only one that might be hazardous in Dunston depending on height (14ft 3inches).

The reason why there are E400's orginally bought on the X30 for the low height on the route (I believe it is just after Stanley).
And I believe the 6048 might be too high

If it's the one heading down to Kip Hill, there's no height restriction, and there's no bridges heading out towards Consett.
I think you have been misinformed.

Aside from the one I've already mentioned, where?
