22080 on the back of an Alpha Recovery truck last night heading north on the A19.  An alpha truck was heading south, possibly to take 22070 from Stockton?

Were they in service condition or did they have all the seats and windows ripped out? If the latter, then they'll be going for scrap.
39666 was taken to alpha yesterday evening was seen heading into dudley at about 19.30 last night

No, definitely not in serviceable condition.  It had no reg plates and had a couple of missing windows.  Engine cover was also flapping about.

Didn't know where I'd put this but yesterday spotted in service was 22428 which hasn't tracked since July last year. Unfortunately no photo

22024 and what was believed to be 22064 heading up the A19 early Friday morning… if the image actually works then it’s visible that they had been doing stuff since it’s withdrawal as they have a wellwoman Advert on the back of 22024 which wasn’t in that advert when I saw it in early August before it was withdrawn
https://www.stagecoachgroup.com/media/ne...0to%20date. 170 new vehicles announced for Stockport, i imagine there may well be cascades keeping an eye out for

Oxford are also getting 159 new buses too

Could end up with quite alot of movements in the fleet, along quite alot of buses getting withdrawn too.
Anyone know whereabouts MAN ALX300s 22344 and 22443 are?

yes, i find it strange where depots like chichester, torquay etc are getting brand new buses to replace 2003/2004/2005 ALX400s when oxfordshire and manchester will be displacing loads of 07/08/09 E400s

Stockport will come under Andy Burnham's franchsing, so quite strange that they are ordering all these vehicles, The franchise for Stockport as far as I know has not been put out to tender yet.....wonder if this mean at Stagecoach will now retain Stockport because of the ZEBRA funding.

certainly looks like a big tick in stagecoaches favour
I couldn't find a more appropriate spot for this - 16336 (which I realise now was a SC Cumbria vehicle)

Hope it lasts longer than NA02NVL did..
Sunderland have shedded an awful lot of MAN E200s without replacement from what I can tell. Did they just have a bloated fleet post-Covid or have I missed some replacements coming in? Since late summer 2022 by my reckoning they have lost 39671-73/75, 39710-15 and 39725/26/29, while only gaining 19387, 27796, 27913 and 27914.

We have (or had) a 61-plate 3600 from Shields (36471?).

36478 came over but that was in exchange for 27740 I believe?

Was to allow 27740 to be a more suitable spare than the E200s for the X34.

There's a few ex Scottish E300s in Shields, not sure if they're Euro 6 though, pretty sure they have spare deckers too.

The ex-Scottish E300s aren't Euro6 - hence why none are allocated to any Newcastle depots.
i think Cambridge has had some of its new electric decker's start to enter service, does anyone know what they are replacing there?
Manchester has started to receive some of its new buses at Hyde road, anyone know what they are replacing there?
stagecoach east Scotland have had one of their E400 MMCs go up in flames in Dundee yesterday, believe it was a 2015 example.

they don't have much luck in Scotland do they? i don't think they look after their vehicles aswell as down here

You have a point. The state of some of the E300s that arrived here in were shocking. The E350H that could have been cascaded are rated amongst the worst of the lot for condition ..

In fairness they had a very hard life, the fact they actually work is quite impressive, the work they were typically on are much harder than anything down here. Arriva have wrecked numerous Enviro's on the X15/X18 in the same time which is similar work.

Was 13042 / SJ15PUX, which was one of their Volvo B5LH/Alexander Dennis Enviro 400MMC examples.

to be honest I travelled on some of the scanias when they were at inverness back in 2017, im not sure which route it was, it went from inverness bus station out to Invergordon, it didn't feel a particularly hard run, a lot of it was like the central motorway in Newcastle

There's three, one that goes via Dingwall, one via Evanton, then the express one which does roughly 15 miles non-stop all 60/70 mph.

https://bustimes.org/services/x25-alness...office#map - That one. Absolutely crippler when you put town buses on stuff like that designed to potter around housing estates. Ironically some of their sisters are on tonight which will no doubt end up here at some point.

Mind that said, they can keep the ex. Newcastle 57 Plate Enviro 400's on services daily from the Aviemore outstation and they do some right killers like the X37 - https://bustimes.org/services/x37-aviemo...r-park#map. Yet Newcastle can't keep them in service on the 22 so they must be doing something right. I'm always surprised how old the fleet is there and it always has been.
Not too surprising but 28016 appears to be getting scrapped, following its accident last month. Shame, cos it was a good one.
