We aren’t getting ALX300s why would we be getting more if we’re getting rid of them?

originally the plan sounded like all ALX300s were going to stockton to be replaced in newcastle by MMCs, now sounds like instead of MMCs they have decided on the 65 plate E300S, it would make sense logistically to have all the remaining ALXs at one depot instead of 3 separate depots

Send the ALX300's to Hartlepool to replace them god awful MANEnviros.
Understand the revised CAZ plan sees Stockton lose all the 64/65 plate E300s to Newcastle for all the remaining ALX300s and MAN E300s apart from the native examples (24101-15). Stockton are required to retain the MMCs due to an arrangement with the Tees Valley Combined Authority for a 20% pledge of Euro6 vehicles operating in the Tees Valley between Stagecoach and Arriva.

The MAN E200s are down to be replaced as and when their MOTs expire - providing replacements can be found. Given 34605 has now been repaired and repainted, likely to see another Hartlepool example withdrawn in the new year.
That's actually rlly good swap for me as I'm sick to death of those local e300s when will this swap happen?
Also NK59BNU appears to have been at stockton for about a week now? Is she permanently or just down for maintenance as hartlepool can be lazy.

Surely all the 64/65 plates can't be going? There seems to be way too many for what's needed up there unless something is planned to be downgraded to single decker.

Without working it out the X47/X77/X78/X79/X82/X87 is only a PVR of 10 or so which they in theory should be going on.
Yeah but all alx300s and those man's would be equal to the SN64OJ Batch I think

I think that the ALX300/MANVIRO300S should come down to Stockton in return a batch of enviro 300s then stocktin give soem e300s to replace hartlepool man e200s?
If the 64'65 reg E300 at Stockton depot go will we get some more double deckers apart from E300 and alx300 to? Or just E300 and alx300 buses.
Not sure but they should bring more deckers down to run the 36 those mmcs have hardly any seats
Thanks for info mate

I'm tempted to say no, although when the new deliveries start arriving it will be interesting to see what happens, i do think Stockton could benefit from decker's but not at the expense of the real moneymakers in Newcastle,

depending on how many numbers are set to arrive as, walkergate alone has shed a lot of its capacity by having decker's go elsewhere ,I think that walkergate needs to regain its lost deckers as apart from the 317 i find it hard to justify E200s on walkergate services, even 300s on most of walkergate routes are unsuited,

and slatyford is starting to struggle with elderly vehicles on core routes, plus with the 685 there will be a heavier need for E400s.
Thanks for info mate

Ahh. I did notice recently that the operation of the X34 seems to have returned to South Shields.
