Been a few on recently with 6101

6900 and 6997 are both long-term VOR waiting for parts, leaving the Toon Tour to run with 6998 and 6999 only (ie without a spare).

6999 has been VOR for the last couple of days meaning a B9 has had to stand in.

It looks to still be going! Currently tracking 30 minutes late on the 19:30 309 to Blyth - think that might be a tad chilly.

The delay - I am told - is due to the fact it was full and standing.

I saw a video posted online last night. Apparently a lot of people made a trip on it simply because it was an open top!

Can they now be allocated to the Percy Main routes like the 307/9 & 1 to use them during the hot days

I could not think of anything worse than travelling on an open top bus on a hot day! Give me the shade of the roof any day!

i would rather be on an open top, nothing worse than the sun through the glass making the bus 35 degrees

It's alright when you've got cool air blasting down on you like you get on a Streetdeck/B5. The smaller windows also help keep the heat out.

I'd probably agree with you if I was travelling on a B9 or E400

Or if ur on an Omnidekka but I suppose they have windows all the way down the bus. The few times I've had cold air blasting down on me on a streetdeck its been freezing cold already.

Might be permanent, due to the 39 PVR increase I think it needed 1 more, but who knows with the 39/33 interowkring with the silver and graphite what will happen to them another nail in the coffin of the S&D
The 39 already have enough 672 spare the 673-679 graphite 6 plus 1 spare
With go north east god knows

There was always 6 graphites plus 672 as the dedicated spare. What’s the pvr now

It was 9 when the 39B got first introduced.

Now I think its 7 or 8, not including the two 33s
