Evening Shuttle service between Durham and Langley Park via Bear Park..... There's a road closure between Witton Gilbert and Langley Park so service 20 on an evening is terminating at Witton Gilbert .

Though i saw a rare "x58" yesterday in NEWCASTLE. It was a crusader but it looks like there is a run for the amazon to NEWCASTLE as an " express" service

It happens on a sunday

5494 has just left Park Lane on route to Langley Park on service 20 (1425) if anyone interested for photo opp. Should be in Durham around 1520/30ish

Both 6147 & 6148 are both on loan to Sunderland depot due to high VOR.

According to Bustimes 6148 is still at Percy Main

It seems like Consett, Percy Main and Riverside are all facing high levels of VOR, Riverside with the Angels, Percy Main with the streetlites and Consett with the hybrids which aren't exactly surprising.

so thats why there has been DD's on the 1

Theres 8 or more Percy Main allocated streetlites off. and 5461 was taken off around 9:20 this morning so.

Is there a board on the washingyon locals supposed to be a decker? Saw one on the 84 the other day, and one on the 85 today.

We are now at the point more decekrs are allocated to the 1 than the actual StreetLite allocation. We know for a fact that decekrs won't go on the 1 as a full time allocation as they have painted 5460/5454 so why bother switching the allocation now. Tbf numbers of passengers I've seen and other have been telling and hearing a few passing mention they are surprised its not allocated something bigger like a double deck. I remember a few weeks ago when 6101 turned up and a StreetLite left in front about 15 minutes late and 1 old woman who got on said that they would prefer the decker over them ones. (Her own words not mine)

There's talk that there's problems getting Wright parts. Considering GNE are the only operator that has a massive chunk of Streetlite's and Streetdeck's it probably explains why. Note the Arriva Streetlite's are having similar problems.

There is currently a shuttle bus in operation in West Rainton which one of them is allocated to.

673, 675 and 677 were all still VOR this morning.

672 is awaiting transfer from Hexham (but is VOR).

Hence the temporary continued use of single decks.

Why?

Now that the 39 is back to being every 15 minutes, a Solo is all it needs in terms of capacity (especially during school holidays).

I mean until all the vehicles were back at deptford. Having a drifter a silver fox and a berries on the 39 isn’t ideal if the company wants the passenger to recognise a particular brand. Seriously what’s the point in branding a vehicle

I take it Deptford has loads of buses off today because the allocations are all over.

I hope these G2s, OmniDekkas, E400 are staying at Deptford for the remainder of the summer
