Mind, X66 appears to be decker operated with it being half term this week, although 8803 is on atm.

Whilst there’s Angels on metro replacement work.

6232 ended up on 51/52/93/94 group of services instead of Metro Replacement.
6235 also broke down at Felling whilst on Metro Replacement.
8313 on the 9
8321 looks to be replacing 5452 on the 1 after 5452 broke down in North Shields while on its way to Whitley Bay
Has common sense officially left Riverside Towers?

5382 has been on the angel 21 all day. Fair enough. Happens a lot now but tbf, it was only 1 single deck vs 17 deckers today

In what world does Riverside think leaving 5382 on the 21 all day and running the lat service the notoriously busy 23.46 from town to Chester on a pay weekend make any sense whatsoever?!

That’s just sheer incompetence

It’s a sign of the times when we’re saying “fair enough” to a single-deck being on the 21.

I noticed six single-decks on the 21 either last week or earlier this week. It’s not fair enough in the slightest.

The BSIP-funded frequency increase and additional bus to support punctuality has worked wonders. Let’s hope it delivers passenger and revenue growth to be commercially viable without funding. The improvement is being let down by poor vehicle allocation and absolutely no management of this situation, which won’t be helping in delivering growth…
5491 on the X10.

Followed closely by a decker.

Either one was running extremely late or they're running dupes.

Both rammed.

Clear that the X9 needs brought back!

Hopefully GNE make route / interworking changes on the X30's/X70's & X45 in January that allows this to happen with suitable vehicles.

5498 also on the X10

Also passed 6181 on the X32 (euro 4 I believe) looks like it had taken over the journey outside of Newcastle according to bus times.

It's a pretty poor show, although the needs of other routes doesn't help the 21, 6325 was robbed off the 21 around lunchtime to do the X10 for a few hours (6352 disappeared off tracking upon arrival in Boro but unsure if this means owt)

3 Versas have been on the 21 today.

Going off bustimes, 5491/98 were dupes between Peterlee & Newcastle (from Peterlee in the morning & from Newcastle in the afternoon/evening)
5524 running a few trips on X10 according to bustimes.

Living in mad times.

5524 and 5525 both acting as dupes on the northern section on the route, from Peterlee to Newcastle in the morning and from Newcastle to Peterlee in the afternoon. Unusually all four Enviro 400 MMCs were allocated today as well.
6337 sighted in service. Do we give it to lunchtime?

Bustimes isn't always the most reliable source, however it's suggesting that it has been sitting on Clayton Street for 20 minutes or so, so it might have failed again!

Looks like it got sent out again in the PM peak, only to fail again at Newcastle.

What an absolute heap.
