The Borismasters for the 8 have now entered service, a week before expected.

It will, because the technology is there to support such a move. Most of your travellers in London will have either a Oyster card or an ENCTS pass. Those there for a day trip will normally pay for a day ticket as part of their rail tickets. In the rare occasion anyone won't have either of the three, then they can pay by contactless payment from a debit/credit card.

In an update to that, It has been Painted Green for Demonstration Purposes at First Leeds, No doubt this is to do with proposed plan for a "New Bus For Leeds", instead of a Trolleybuses which was suggested by West Yorkshire PTE.

LT2 has since arrived at Leeds Hunslet Park Depot

West Yorkshire PTE's Trolleybus suggestion would cost £250,000,000 to Implement, and they'd like up and running by 2019, where First Leeds would prefer to Purchase NB4L's at a of £354,500 each, Resulting in an Overall cost of £70,900,000 for 200 Vehicles, Saving £170,100,000 Overall, and it could be implemented a lot sooner than the Trolleybuses.

It seems Stagecoach has their own Royal British Legion 'poppy bus'...

I'd thought I'd read about coordinated strike action across the bus operators, but can't see anything other than Tower Transit. Shame like, as it's a bit short sighted by Unite.

Stagecoach London presently have Dennis Tridents 17002/10/11 (S802/10/11 BWC), 17493 (LX51 FMO) and 17567 (LV52 HEJ) on-loan from Stagecoach Manchester for use on afternoon peak workings on service 47 (London Bridge - Lewisham) while Southeastern Trains aren't serving London Bridge Station during its rebuild for Thameslink.

On a side-note, as two of my cousins are coming, and with there only being 2 free tickets, I bought the extra ticket last night and collected it at the Central today before starting uni. With a railcard, £105 First Class return isn't too bad. I also ordered our Visitor Oyster Cards last night, so hopefully they'll be here soon

For the buses, it's £1.50 for any single journey, with a cap of £4.40, so you could ride 20 bus journeys and it would still just cost £4.40. You won't spend more than £6.40 in Zone 1&2 on pay as you go as it's capped at that price, no matter how many journeys you make.
If you get chance then I'd definitely include a ride on the DLR, and I would have recommended the Emirates Air-line too but this is in zone 3 (North Greenwich-Royal Victoria). A trip on the Thames Clipper boats down the River Thames was great when we did it in 2012 (at the end of a very long, but superb, day out) - it was just getting dark and everywhere was lit up along the river, we did Woolwich to Embankment

It will certainly take a lot of planning to cram everything in. My cousins' requests so far is to ride the Underground and the London Eye, and then there's me and the Borismaster. Apart from that, we don't know what else we're doing. Something to organise on the train going down I suppose

I've visited 3 of them whilst in London; St. James' Park, Westminster and Arnos Grove. I must say the architecture of Westminster is incredible.

Just browsing through the London bus routes on Wikipedia (not the most reliable of course) - i clicked on the 25 route...

Peak vehicle requirement: 60
Frequency 3-8 minutes

They actually take into account traffic congestion down there though. You can't get away from it. 

I've only used the 25 once or twice I think. I use the 73 regularly when down there, which has a PVR of 53. Despite having a 3-4 min frequency, it's very rare I've seen them come in twos, even at peak times. Always heavily used too, justifying the frequency.

Had a nice ride out on LTZ 1112 this morning. Impressed at build quality, how quiet they are, and that you don't hear any rattles. Downside for me is the seating though, which doesn't compare to what we have on the GNE B9s for example.
