Liam has some plans for the North East Bygone Era section. When those plans turn into reality, it is likely we will resurrect an official 'Elsewhere' section again, as it should be a lot easier for me to do then.

Liam has a lot of Uni work to be getting on with and I have exams. I'm guessing that progress will be slow for that reason but we may have it rolled out by Christmas.
Hi apparently the Forum can only be viewed by Members? may i ask why this is as i thought the aim was to get a nice community going?

That's true, yes.

The aim is most definitely to have a 'nice community' and it is much to our disappointment that photographs uploaded to the site as attachments have been uploaded elsewhere. The small thumbnail version which non-members can see, at that.

It is a temporary move, and normal full public access will be restored again in time. For now, I still have no idea how to change that setting - so it's when Liam decides, not me! Wink

The advantage of this move is that it brings us closer and closer to our 500-member milestone, when we intend on releasing a new feature.

Photos being robbed from the forum? i was not aware of that but i hope you can get the little t*t/s done for it.
Could the Classic Bus North West thread (in the Bus Operators Elsewhere section) be renamed Oakwood Travel. This is now the licence name and they have taken on the assets and goodwill of CBNW.

Does MyBB have a calendar built into it? If so could we look at enabling it, and using it to add events that are confirmed? e.g. Metro Centre Rally, and the Seaburn Rally?

Block my Older Brother who has just made an Account, NEB simply can't have 2 Malarkey's

There are two Malarkeys?

Are you going to tell us who he is or do we have to guess/work it out?

Older Brother who know's nothing about Buses of the Modern Day as we know it, He probably doesn't even know what a Rare/Odd Working is, Although he could probably tell a few stories from the late 80's/early 90's when he actually had an interest in Buses when he was younger, which could contribute to the Bygone Era, But other than that I would say he is no good, and he'd most likely attempt to give me grief, perhaps resulting in insulting other members of the Forum. Like I said NEB simply isn't big enough for 2 Malarkey's.

What was my thread saying this forum was like North Korea?! (-:

The Yahoo Groups were right!
Bygone Era link on the homepage appears to be broken. Getting an 'Invalid Forum' error from MyBB.
Slow day today!

What about an 'introductions' section?

I'm thinking more along the lines of "hi I'm Chris, enjoy the fourm and look forward to joining in the debate" kind as opposed to the "bubbly blonde seeks sugar daddy for fun, good times & possibly more " kind of introductions.
