Whoever is linking the photos needs to learn the courtesy of contacting the photographer and being willing to credit. And being willing to be told where to shove it.
I'm sure there's no deliberate attempt at anything untoward with borrowed photos.
More a naivety and lack of courtesy from an eager employee.
I never have this issue because I watermark all my photos. But I do remember being amused to turn up at the Northumbria Coaches depot in 2005 to find several of my photographs had been printed off stuck up on the walls of the main office.
He isn't going to delete "HIS" photos anytime soon...

I think unless his account gets deleted, this will continue to go on and if this is how he is going to react, there's very little we can do and frequently leaving angry comments is only going to make both parties look bad really.

He's spammed my Flickr in the past, But doesn't seem to post any of them on his flickr. Like come on, I want extra promotion
Nah seriously, If he does post one of my photos on his page then he'll know about it.

I've threatened people with court action previously, that has usually done the trick. People like him are uneducated on the law and think because it's on the internet, Google etc they can just take it with no consequences.
I have blocked him so he can't steal anymore of my photos

Although this is true, "court action" is no more than a hollow threat, as it's a business-based crime. A case would never be able to arise from the infringement unless it has significant value (the product generally has to be given a specific high value at retail level), as lawyers would not oblige due to the minimum profit gained by winning the case. I doubt many people have the common sense to, but all it takes is for somebody to question your threat, and then you have just made yourself look rather silly.
As Jimmi rightly said, the true way of dealing with this issue is simply avoiding his content, if it annoys you. Making empty threats won't take you further than the bottom line of people.
Whilst I ain't happy on my photos being stolen, I ain't going to let it get to a point where I start getting angry and starting to make threats as I have more important things to worry/think about than my photos ending up somewhere they shouldn't be.
Do feel free to disagree with me on this but I personally feel some of the reactions to stolen photos is a bit overblown, lots of block capital's being used and threats being made which sometimes get returned and it can just get out of hand and I think there has been times it has gotten to a point where legal action has had to be made, seriously some days you would be mistaken for thinking they'd stolen their car or something rather than just some photos, about as much as I can be bothered to do is ask politely to remove my photos and if they don't I would just report the copyright breach if its on Flickr although most of the time I just do nowt as it ain't really worth my time.
His account has been deleted

Was looking at my Flickr a little while ago and thought, didn't this photo have 21 likes earlier, who's unliked it? [emoji1]
This was after seeing the post in this thread that the account had been deleted. At least I should hopefully stop getting asked when I and other enthusiasts will be taking photos in Middlesbrough.

Was rather annoying that I got asked that, on a day last week that I had actually been in Middlesbrough, I just only uploaded this photo from Yarm on that day:

If his account didn't get deleted, he could have seen this shot from Middlesbrough today (well, yesterday now):

He may have seen the photo... (if this is the same person)
I don't think it's the end of him yet. He could possibly make a new account or just use this one if he uses it..

They always come back!
My advice is block him now so we don't have to hear so much whining about photos being stolen (or moaning about being frequently asked when you or Kuyoyo is going to be uploading some Middlesbrough photos [emoji14])

So far I've seen a stolen photo of:
Kieron Matthews' photo of GNE's 8246,
aureolindn's photo of GNE's 8261
And Daniel Graham's photo of GNE's 550.
Have blocked them and flagged the photo and also reported them to Flickr for copyright theft.
