Common for the plugs on the Sapphire Pulsars not to work or not? Will get fleet number when I get off...

I know it isn't a Pulsar but the socket I used on 7502 was intermittent yesterday maybe if lots of people are using them at the same time?

I'm the only person on board under 60 years of age! The other four passengers aren't using the power sockets.

Tried multiple sets, but to no avail.

Had no luck with Sapphire this week!

Ah right ok Smile just thought it may be a possibility.

Joining you on the bad luck front, the Wi-Fi was dodgy yesterday on 7502 as well, or at least didn't work anywhere near as easily as 7509's did Sad

Once I tried to charge my phone via the USB port and it wouldn't work, even though I had the same bus that morning and it did work, don't use the plugs that often. Could the driver not have pressed the switch down which was an excuse on the Sapphire Enviros plugs not working.

Was annoyed when the interior lights were off on Tuesday morning meaning there was no WiFi. The WiFi on 1517 & 1520 often doesn't work or it takes about 10 minutes to get connected.

I got the Wi-Fi to work on 7505 yesterday, but it was that slow I turned it off. Was taking liberties when it was taking about 30 seconds to send a message, so went back to using my own data.

Plugs worked yesterday though, and the journey was quite pleasant...after I put my earphones in!

(03 Aug 2014, 11:20 am)G-CPTN The need for vehicles to be accessible to DDA standards is being phased in over six years. The dates by which different vehicle types have to be compliant are:

• 1 January 2015 – all buses and coaches up to 7.5 tonnes GVW
• 1 January 2016 – single-deck buses over 7.5 tonnes GVW
• 1 January 2017 – double-deck buses
• 1 January 2020 – coaches

Does that include minibuses? I saw an 09 reg Vario the other day!

I could have walked faster than 7502 along the A1 yesterday, my days it was slow, how was 7505?
Yeah there was a screaming baby on mine so I decided that music was the best way as well Smile

7505 was alright. Well, it got into Newcastle on time after leaving Ashington 2 or 3 mins late...so must have been alright. Tongue

It's an outrage if you ask me. The industry should never have agreed to it. If they'd all threatened to pull out there's not a lot the government could have done.
You give these mninority interest groups an inch and they take a mile. First it was Diptac grab rails and split steps and now look where it's ended up.

They could have been having a shave or something!

Aye... The old woman had a few white hairs coming from her chin, like! Guess she'll have to pluck them out instead. Wink

Think the X93 must have took it out of 7502 then, as 7509 was alright as well yesterday morning. Smile

(03 Aug 2014, 11:49 am)mb134 Was this the reason initially that Arriva bought both body types?

Did Alexander make the necessary modifications between V and W reg?

RE: Arriva North East - Latest - Roland Pratt - 03 Aug 2014

Cadets! You could imagine there would have been more interest if it had been an Alexander bodied one!

Aren't the V reg B10's wright bodied? If so could Arriva have ordered these then realised that they would have a shorter life than Alexander bodied ones so bought those to follow on?
