(16 May 2016, 7:51 pm)mb134 Full height Enviro 400's and B7's operated the route when it was in the hands of ANE, so I don't see height being an issue.
I believe a double decker is required due to the school runs at the beginning and end of the day.
I haven't seen too many single deckers on the 448 (and therefore 434) recently, with it being a red thing or a Gemini 2 every day I've seen it in the past few weeks.

(16 May 2016, 7:59 pm)S813 FVK 547 isn't withdrawn yet. I suspect it is being held as a replacement for 5292 until it returns (6037 was doing this job but it was withdrawn due to a mechanical issue that would be too costly to fix).
On the subject of allocations though, does anybody know what the AM scholars 831 runs onto? From what i was aware, the bus did the AM service, 689 and then PM service but recently, it has been turning left out of the school as if it was heading back to Stanley to do a V7/V8 or 30.

(16 May 2016, 10:22 pm)Wybus I believe it now runs a 30 starting from Lanchester. The previous journey from Stanley to Lanchester having been made school holidays only in the last service changes, presumably the bus that used to do that trip now being required somewhere else.

(17 May 2016, 6:56 am)cbma06 Traveling up the A19 northbound in the car just passed easington turn off and there's a TTX broken down southbound causing traffic chaos, when I went past at 07:39 a red scania just turned up.

EDIT from my post above, It was actually 5167 and that vehicle is a Riverside one so 5157 hasn't gone to Riverside.
