No idea but very surprised that they're not running anything after the match considering the majority of routes ran after matches particularly the X21/X22/X10/X11/308 end up leaving with a full load during midweek plus the game is a sell out by the looks of things!

Wonder if any coach operators will be cashing in as I've known of one person who's used a coach from Bedlington on a normal match day.

Could Arriva have not just registered 'drop off' only specials after Haymarket and forced passengers to pre-book with different prices with no regular concessions excluding slightly discounted fares with no refunds given unless exceptional circumstances or seat could be given to next person if there was a waiting list depending on the number of specials put on.

Couldn't be bothered haha

Barely any promotion about these services anyway, so I'd doubt there'd be any decent loadings.

Was in Blyth between 11-12:30 and saw 3x 308's 2x X10 and 1x X11.

Ofcourse I only saw buses entering / leaving the town centre so may have got busier on route but from what I saw no more than 5 people got on each service at the bus station. I do agree that this was partly to do with marketing. There were no signs up in the bus station advising on boxing day services and no timetables or anything like that for people that didn't know.

Quite surprised that we have buses today.

Seem to be coming when they like, though.

Arriva are running Sunday service south of the Tyne and Saturday service North of the Tyne - and after what I heard about the Bank Holiday Monday after Christmas last year, only Arriva Durham County are taking the sensible approach, as demand last year was non-existence.
