Park Lane and Galleries was the same day!

I may need to relocate then.. I wasn't aware this sort of activity was forbidden. I agree with Dan's stance, but I'm already far too schizophrenic! I can't now spend my life worrying about nexus's small army of podgey bald men chasing me over a picture ?

Interestingly, somebody made an FOI request on this very topic...

In respect of photographing buses, Nexus does not operate bus services and
you should contact the operator of any buses you wish to photograph. You
may find further information on the Operators’ website within their
Passenger Charter/Conditions of Carriage.

I remember that one. Bloke however was quite canny, and I believe Manchester Airport is welcoming to all sorts of transport enthusiasts.

Never had this problem, although I do use my iPhone to get photos, maybe they just go after people with cameras

There is a difference between taking photographs as a spotter, and some of the photographs that appear showing people (not specifically bus staff) acting unreasonably.
As the disputed areas are on private property, they are within their rights to prohibit photography, but more difficult to enforce when using a phone.
They do not have the right to demand that images are deleted (not even the police can do that) - it would require a court order - but they can prevent access to the area if they so decide (though difficult if it is a bus station).

"The vehicle's whistle-stop tour of Go North East's depots is set to continue towards the middle of next month, when its trial period on "TEN" services 10A/10B is completed. After a final trial at a further depot, the vehicle will be returned to Optare".

It'd next going to deptford for fab fifty six for a month.

Hopefully one of the "Fast Cats" Scania's goes Red so it can join the proposed brand on the 33/39 and 238.

It was originally booked in for PSV test on 3rd November 2016, but missed the slot because it wasn't ready (it wasn't repainted until 11th November 2016 and then would have required work to be undertaken to prepare it for test).

There were no more tests available in 2016 and the only way it could have been tested is if it was carried out at another ATF (as opposed to locally at Deptford Depot where PSV tests for the south division are undertaken). I believe 6141 or 6142 was recently tested at an alternative ATF - at Scania on Pattinson Industrial Estate in Washington, if my memory serves me correctly, but Deptford must have made the decision not to do this for 699.

Anyone would think Go North East had a strategy in which they've planned to launch a brand at a specific time...

Will the 38 join the brand?, this means the 33/38/39/237/238 would be branded leaving only the 9 and X36 not branded at Deptford.

Hopefully those Versa's come off the 61 soon too!

Of course it wasn't, GNE had 691 - 705 arriving from Thames Travel (expect for 697 which should arrive next month) , along with rest of the Omnidekka's from Brighton, which became their priority to get them out for service changes and withdrawal of older deckers ahead of the Double Decker DDA deadline.

691 has entered service on the X6/X7 today, hopefully the brand is applied on the Solo's soon.

Over the last few years the only strategy I've noticed GNE has is for reducing services and that seems to be done haphazardly without any overall planning, except you can rely on there being changes in Sunderland every few months!

Stagecoach in Sunderland are about to cut some of their services too, but he always goes on as if it's just GNE who does it.
