The 29 could easily handle a decker on match days - if forward planning allowed it. Would really help pick up the slack through Harlow Green and Durham Road that the 21 can't handle

Just minimum capacity, there's no cap as far as I'm aware.

Mind you couldn't run a decker on the 28/29 unless you fancied a new open top bus (low bridge at Pelton).

I would expect any costs incurred are factored into the closure of Chester-le-Street depot and the mobilisation of Miscellaneous Workings.

I wouldn't be surprised if you saw more deckers on the 6 with its movement to Consett as they'll need to prioritise the 78 for the streetlites and the occasional Solo

Every 6 I see have quite a decent if not almost full load. When I got the 6 the other day I'm so glad it was a decker, there were about 20 5-8-year-olds getting on all throughout the route to Lancaster. And honestly, if that was a single-decker I would have gotten off and got another bus. I do feel like the 6 needs deckers.

What a total shambles go north east have made of the Sunderland routes. Not one route with the correct brand. Sunderland and district needs scrapping straight and just put all buses into corporate colours. 39 graphite bloody mothballed and what’s on today? Peterlee purple makes no sense at all. Cherry violet and blonde waste of paint. I used to love go north east now it’s just run by clowns

5328 is on the 35, just passed it at Sunderland Hospital, heading towards Low Moorsley

21 would never see a B5 on it
X21 would have ex Lothian or B5's they preformed quite well, I wonder how Ex X45/6 Deckers would cope
