While walking through Winlaton on my way to the dentist this morning I happened to bump into one of my old school friends. I explained to him that I was in a hurry but it was obvious he had something to tell me. He asked if I'd been on Facebook this morning to which I replied "No". He then proceeded to tell me that he woke up to a status this morning announcing he had died. I started to laugh and told him he looked quite well for someone who was dead.
While death is no laughing matter and should be respected, I think that's funny, like a message I once got on Friends Re - United, I had heard my best mate/partner in crime from my days in care was died, I had not heard from him since he went to Aberdeen in 2000 and lost touch from 2001 till 2011 and thought his demise could be actually have happened, hence why we lost touch...
Logged into Friends Re-United one morning and had a message saying 'Alright mate, I hear you're mourning my passing, don't worry, this is not a ghost using a computer, I am alive and well, never felt better or fitter'
