Darts seen today still in active service at Sunderland are: 35155-58, 33484 (there may have been others which i never seen though)
I was also just wondering if anyone knows where 39730 is? Just havent seen it kicking about in Sunderland for weeks now.

(02 Nov 2013, 2:05 pm)Richard Smiles Hello there Michael, the last I heard was that the GAS buses are due to start arriving the last week of November. I gather that Scania have now allocated Registration Numbers to these vehicles, but as yet I don't have any details.

Sorry I cant help any further just at the moment. Regards Richard

Thanks Richard, i knew it was this month or next but then i heard they were arriving earlier than first thought because they were getting built ahead of schedule

(02 Nov 2013, 2:22 pm)Richard Smiles Possibly Michael, given the E200s started arriving a week early. I think initially they were to have followed straight on from the last of the E200s, but I heard from a reliable source that it would be the week ending Friday 29 November, lets hope that they do come sooner. I have to rely on photos etc. given I live on Teesside (Middlesbrough).

I am working on trying to get the Registrations ahead of delivery, but no joy just yet.

It was a pain with the E200s as they were being registered by ADL as they were being completed at Falkirk. Hopefully it will be an easier process with the GAS buses. Regards Richard

I hope so, Can't wait to ride them

(02 Nov 2013, 1:57 pm)Richard Smiles I am wondering whether Walkergate have also gained 34608 as a spare?, has this been seen anywhere as not much mention of it.

Surely not? An allocation of 6 for a PVR of 4 is already very generous! That was reportedly due to unreliability of the ALX200s so in theory they don't even need the allocation of 6 now never mind 7!

I saw an Enviro inside of a shutter today at the back of the depot, but can't be sure this was 36975.

(02 Nov 2013, 5:58 pm)Richard Smiles Hello there Dan, hope you had a good time in Pari (Paris).

I received a text to my Mobile from a fellow Enthusiast Steven Hodgson of whom managed to photo 36975, so it has been out today. Just waiting for the photos to be emailed to me. At the moment my next Fleet List cover carries a shot of 36970, but I was particularly interested in 36975 given it carries Reg No. SN63VVK.
VK being one of the Old Newcastle & Tyne and Wear Registration Marks of years gone by, before the new awful registration mark system was introduced in 2001. Kind Regards, Richard

Richard, I managed to photo 36975 on Tuesday, so it has been in service most of the week. I'm slightly behind on photo sorting but I can get the shot sorted if needed.
