(23 Jun 2014, 10:30 am)Coastliner700 If GNE can use deckers on the 10 and the 602 used to be double decker; I think it's a silly rule. There are still other routes it could take in the past it often use to operate via Scotswood Road when other routes were blocked and it could also travel the old 602 route via Western by pass and into the MetroCentre via Retail Park. In addition I can remember as I child vaguely travelling on an old Atlantean on 100

(23 Jun 2014, 11:54 am)Kuyoyo 22063 is back at Stockton looking fresh on the 1250 52 from the town
(24 Jun 2014, 1:41 pm)Kuyoyo The route they use is via Scotswood View, Cross Lane and Wellington Street - of which there is a 14ft height restricted bridge. So while Stagecoach's E400s can fit under there (they are 13ft 10in), they don't risk it after the deroofing of one of the C-LFT Leyland Olympian when more-or-less brand new back in 1986.

(25 Jun 2014, 5:50 am)Richard Smiles A quick check of the DVLA website this morning, has confirmed that ALL of the remaining/outstanding GAS buses have now been taxed/registered with the DVLA as follows:
28035 (YP14 TGE) - 24 06 2014
28036 (YP14 TGF) - 24 06 2014
28037 (YP14 TGJ) - 24 06 2014
28039 (YP14 TGN) - 24 06 2014
28040 (YP14 TGO) - 24 06 2014
Interestingly 28038 (YP14 TGK) is recorded as having been registered with the DVLA actually on 09 06 2014.
Anyway that aside, ALL GAS buses have now arrived & have been registered, so presumably all are now available for service.

(25 Jun 2014, 6:13 am)Richard Smiles We have about 4 weeks to wait now Michael & then the two Brand New E200s for South Shields are expected to be delivered 37143 & 37144. I believe it is the working week ending Friday 25 July 2014, that they are due to be delivered.
Interesting that Slatyford are now sending Stockton Cast Offs viz 22473 & 22474. This stands Stockton in good stead for getting another batch of New Vehicles next year, as we will continue to have several non-DDA compliant vehicles in the fleet.

(25 Jun 2014, 8:39 am)Richard Smiles It will be interesting to see whether 22465 & 22470 see further use at Stockton or elsewhere, as both are Taxed until 1 March 2015.

That's the second posting he has made on the Forum, which has turned out to be inaccurate.

(25 Jun 2014, 1:54 pm)Andreos Constantopolous That is a bit forthright and presumptious isn't it?
For all you, me and everyone else knows, plans could have changed
There could have been issues with the vehicle too.
Did anyone state that anything Richard Smiles said, needed to be taken with a pinch of salt, when one or two of your posts weren't totally correct or accurate?

(25 Jun 2014, 3:44 pm)Richard Smiles I would be truly fascinated to know whether "Mr Dross", is acquainted with Staff at Stagecoach & is in regular contact with them as I am on a Daily basis to verify information, before it is posted - Answer - Probably Not.
Has "Mr Dross" contributed detailed or useful information about Fleet Developments with Stagecoach North East - Answer - No.
Can I from now on, when learning detailed & interesting developments about the Fleet etc. keep it to myself - Answer I certainly can.
Andre (dross), by name & Dross by Nature.
I rest my case

22474 has definitely gone the journey from slatyford to Stockton.
22040 is away from slatyford having extensive repair work carried out after its mishap a few weeks ago.
19158 is still off the road however should be back within a few weeks.
finally 22072 is still at slatyford but she currently has a brake issue
