(09 Jul 2015, 11:02 pm)LeeCalder There is a page on Facebook called "Christians against tattoos" and it has pissed me off so much.I have 10 tattoos, guess I am not Christian, wonder if there against Body Piercing, I have a bar through one of my nipples
My father has a tattoo which is basically of me, the meaning of it being that no matter where he is, my presence will always be with him.
Now, I sent this page a message and they said that my dad will go to hell for having this tattoo.
It has pissed me off and has made me quite upset.

(10 Jul 2015, 8:28 am)Jimmi It's going to be one of selection of Christians where they just spout Bible verses and shout "You're going to hell, jesus hates you" and stuff like that. Seriously some especially in America are really passionate about their beliefs and try and force it upon people who doesn't share their beliefs. Is it any wonder people want nothing to do with Religion with Clowns like that around
It seems like it's going to be a case where you can type Christians Against [INSERT SUBJECT] into Google and you will find groups like this. Just did a quick Google search and Christians are against the band Slipknot and dinosaurs.

(09 Jul 2015, 10:24 pm)GMitchelhill Was going to go to the pride event, but at the moment, I'm not sure if I'm going to bother going on the Saturday, especially thanks to GNE sending a bus to the event meaning it's going to attract the usual crowd that I has caused me to rethink my involvement in the hobby in the past. You've been involved in this hobby long enough not to let certain crowds discourage you Gary.
(09 Jul 2015, 10:26 pm)LeeCalder I'm certainly not going.
The last 3 events I've been to I've had four or so fellow enthusiasts following me around like sheep for the full do when I've made it perfectly clear I don't want them following me as I'm doing my own thing.
(10 Jul 2015, 8:32 am)MrFozz Is it any wonder people want nothing to do with Religion with Clowns like that aroundIt's important to remember that this is a completely irrelevant minority. On the same token, just because we have a few scumbags in the UK, it doesn't mean everyone should give the UK a sideways step.

There's more than enough room for everyone, and thankfully there's no requirement to socialise with people you don't want to.
I tend to go to as much events as I can, but I try and keep myself to myself on the most part.
You'd be surprised how much more you get to do and see when you're out by yourself!

(10 Jul 2015, 9:30 am)MrFozz Best way sometimes, I have been doing this for 7 years and I prefer to do it alone
Though I do talk to people if I see them, I am not ignorant, and wouldn't ignore people who talk to me unlike some I have met in the past(nobody off here btw, everyone I have seen from NEB has always been happy to talk to me)

(10 Jul 2015, 9:44 am)Jimmi [b [Except me that time you saw me taking photos at Dalton Park, although I was too nervous to go over and talk to you at the MetroCentre rally although I can't really help that annoyingly with how I am.[/b]
I'd say going out on your own is still probably the best way especially if you are after photos as your own photo goals my be different to someone else's. I do like going on my own outings as I can go where I want and I can get what I want to eat and when I want to eat it and sometimes you have to accommodate times for other people to meet their connections and such.
That said after being at some of the rallies this year and on a few outings I wouldn't mind the odd outing with some of the members of this forum

(10 Jul 2015, 12:17 pm)MrFozz That day at Dalton Park I was on the bus, so I could not say hi, lol...
I don't bite, I promise
The problem I have with people is those complete ignorant types who won't even acknowledge you and look at you like something they scraped off there shoe...
Sometimes it is good to have company, safety in numbers, whenever people have a problem it always seems to be when people are alone...
Look...That's the person you are Jimmi, can't be helped, let me know if your in Dalton Park, Seaham or Peterlee sometime and I will come say hi sometime

(10 Jul 2015, 2:14 pm)Jimmi That's true I guess, also I was wanting to get out of there not long after I took the photo of the Citaro you were on as I was waiting for the Deptford operated 265 to Seaham then I jumped on the 22 then 21 home.
(10 Jul 2015, 2:14 pm)Jimmi Additional safety is not the only good thing about having someone else tagging along with you, it can also be fun just to have someone to chat to as well.
(10 Jul 2015, 2:14 pm)Jimmi If I am up in the Peterlee, Dalton Park or Seaham areas I will let you know, not sure when I'll be next in these areas but it probably will be soon so I can get some photos of the East Durham MPD's which should be leaving the GNE fleet soon.

Lots of people in good moods today although I am sad to say I am in a rather awful mood today.
Unfortunately we had to put our German Shepherd down this morning at the age of 13.
As you can imagine I am not feeling good at the moment so please bare with me if I seem a bit off on here over the next few days.

Awww Jimmi, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. It isn't good when a pet passes on. You don't lose a pet but you lose a member of your family.

was on X9 bus earlier and despite it was boiling on the upper deck of the bus some 3 people moan about it just because i had a window open it was boiling and 3 people had a go at me all because i opened a window what is wrong with that on a bus when it was roasting then the persons mother said well you should have worn something light which i did
other thing that annoyed me when i took a photo of a stagecoach bus the driver was shouting abuse at me by calling me names by swearing and sticking his 2 fingers up
these people on the back of the arriva sapphire swore at me lucky i never intended to get this bus
finally some kids made rude gesture towards davie when he took a photo of the bus
