Seriously some especially in America are really passionate about their beliefs and try and force it upon people who doesn't share their beliefs. It seems like it's going to be a case where you can type Christians Against [INSERT SUBJECT] into Google and you will find groups like this. Just did a quick Google search and Christians are against the band Slipknot and dinosaurs. |

There's more than enough room for everyone, and thankfully there's no requirement to socialise with people you don't want to. I tend to go to as much events as I can, but I try and keep myself to myself on the most part. (09 Jul 2015, 10:26 pm)LeeCalder wrote I'm certainly not going. On the same token, just because we have a few scumbags in the UK, it doesn't mean everyone should give the UK a sideways step.

Best way sometimes, I have been doing this for 7 years and I prefer to do it alone Though I do talk to people if I see them, I am not ignorant, and wouldn't ignore people who talk to me unlike some I have met in the past(nobody off here btw, everyone I have seen from NEB has always been happy to talk to me) |

I'd say going out on your own is still probably the best way especially if you are after photos as your own photo goals my be different to someone else's. I do like going on my own outings as I can go where I want and I can get what I want to eat and when I want to eat it and sometimes you have to accommodate times for other people to meet their connections and such. That said after being at some of the rallies this year and on a few outings I wouldn't mind the odd outing with some of the members of this forum [emoji2] |

I don't bite, I promise The problem I have with people is those complete ignorant types who won't even acknowledge you and look at you like something they scraped off there shoe... Sometimes it is good to have company, safety in numbers, whenever people have a problem it always seems to be when people are alone... Look...That's the person you are Jimmi, can't be helped, let me know if your in Dalton Park, Seaham or Peterlee sometime and I will come say hi sometime |

That's true I guess, also I was wanting to get out of there not long after I took the photo of the Citaro you were on as I was waiting for the Deptford operated 265 to Seaham then I jumped on the 22 then 21 home. Additional safety is not the only good thing about having someone else tagging along with you, it can also be fun just to have someone to chat to as well. If I am up in the Peterlee, Dalton Park or Seaham areas I will let you know, not sure when I'll be next in these areas but it probably will be soon so I can get some photos of the East Durham MPD's which should be leaving the GNE fleet soon. |

Lots of people in good moods today although I am sad to say I am in a rather awful mood today.
Unfortunately we had to put our German Shepherd down this morning at the age of 13. As you can imagine I am not feeling good at the moment so please bare with me if I seem a bit off on here over the next few days. |

Nothing new there then I had to go through the exact same process with my dog last year - coming up to a year now (12th August) but it was the right thing to do. You could tell she wasn't enjoying life and just could not be bothered. Brings us back to the euthanasia debate though: If we can put dogs to sleep to end pain and suffering, why should human beings have to go through all the pain and suffering because euthanasia isn't allowed in this country? We will never win but i don't see how its fair. |

Awww Jimmi, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. It isn't good when a pet passes on. You don't lose a pet but you lose a member of your family.

Been sad all day because of it, just been thinking about it all day and thinking about the dog all day but it was 13 and the last day or two it's back legs have just gone, we had to wheel it on a trolley from the car in the car park to the vets. Because of its age and the state of it's legs it was the right thing to do. I was going to be at Sunniside live in Sunderland today where we did go for a bit this afternoon but we decided to head to Yate's for tea and decided not to go back and head home which was probably a good decision as it is raining now so we would have got wet. At least it was a free event so we haven't really lost out really. |
