(12 Dec 2015, 2:07 pm)Dan My mam spotted four together in Southwick yesterday.

Guessing there's some roadworks / temp lights on route?

Not sure on roadworks but Sunderland are at home today.. that doesn't help along with the snow.

One of the 16's was a MAN though.

That is now correct as 19644 has returned from Scotland. If 19644 had still been away, then there would have still been a need for 34401 to be used as a spare.

I know for a FACT it was prepared for service and was available for use in service while 19644 was away but as I have previously said, 19644 has returned so there is no longer a need for the extra spare.

19644 has been seen in Stockton. Is it back at South Shields now?

39731 has an annoying buzzing noise.. driver has radio'd the depot and is still waiting for them to see if they need to replace it... that was ages ago.

They'll need something for Asda contracts, unless they give them up.

As can be seen at the top of the page, 22210 is Awaiting Disposal (collection by the scrapman) as it has suffered an Engine failure according to the Busways Fleet Card.

An ADL E300 did, or tried to do a three-point turn on Marsden Lane outside the Marsden Inn in South Shields - blocking the road in the process.
