One of my favourite character actors ever has sadly passed away.

Fr Jack is no more, there's only Dougal left from everyone's favourite 3 priests.

What a rubbish year for celebrity deaths 2016 has been so far

Wistfully stuck in the 90s

It is quite coincidental that today is also the 18th anniversary of Dermot Morgan's death.

Really enjoy watching the re-runs of Father Ted on More4 whenever I catch them - way before my time but they just don't make comedy like that anymore.

More4 had a a Father Jack commemoration on Sunday night.
There must have been a good few hours worth of episodes on back to back.

I managed to catch the back end of it, unfortunately. As i said previously, i absolutely love Father Ted. Other than Mrs. Browns Boys, i can't think of any other sitcom style show that is made as well.

Not keen on Mrs Brown at all.

My favourite Father Ted episodes are Hell and Song for Europe.
Eldest Constantoplous was introduced to the show 4 years ago this summer. The dirst episode he saw was Song for Europe.
He was hooked from there on in.

My favourite has always been Tentacles of Doom...that would be an ecumenical matter.
